Sorry if this update has already been posted.

This came via my DVC e-mail newsletter todays

"Crowning the King

As construction continues on creating an enclosed theater, there
will be no performances of the Festival of the Lion King show at
Disney's Animal Kingdom(R) Theme Park from August 25 to September
19. When the show resumes, Guests and performers alike will enjoy
the comfort of a fully-enclosed, climate controlled theater."

I'm pretty disappointed. Not only will I miss it but so will my DN on his first trip ever:(

Thank Goodness LOL

It can get very stuff in that theater.

Sorry you will miss the show, but I'm glad for the improvement.

It gives you an excuse to go back to see the show :)

I wonder if that is the sign of things to come. I know Tarzan sometimes doesn't get rollerblading due to heat....maybe they are next?

Sandy

In all fairness, Tarzan should be next. Those poor dances work up a sweat, and if the floor is to wet, no rollerbladers. And that really takes away from the show.

Just curious...

What will the show's performers/cast members do at the park while the show is on hiatus? Meet-and-greets or something?

If anyone has any answers, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have heard that they will be working in other areas of the park and doing the AK parade.
