I have booked a cat 8B room almost all the way forward on Deck 9 of the Fantasy for October 2013 but I'm second guessing my room choice. Seems like all the cat 8B rooms are either foward or aft. I don't really want to change it but, we've never cruised before and I have been reading that midship and lower decks may be better choice to avoid seasickness. Do you really experience that much movement on ships this size? Should I pay more and upgrade to a veranda room on a lower deck, midship? I kinda really wanted to sit in that huge porthole window and watch the ocean go by
....but I don't want my familiy to get sick because of room choice either.
Anyone have some experience they can share with a forward stateroom on a higher deck?
