All our previous cruises we've been deck 7 midship (verandah) Now we're booked on the 10 night Southern july 25th ( next year) on the Fantasy. What we ended up with is deck 7, forward. 7538 near the forward elevator. Im not usually prone to motion sickness, but this is our 1st cruise during hurricane season. Anyone have experience near this location during rough seas? Our previous cruises have been in Winter. Normally avoid the season, but this is a limited itinerary.

It would be less likely, historically, to have a hurricane in July. It's certainly possible, but nothing I would assume as a certainty. More probable at the end of August, September and October and lesser so in November. That being said...we always sail in the Fall; we almost always stay Forward and have never had any problems with rough seas or resulting physical responses. I wouldn't worry about it. If the seas become too choppy or a hurricane tries to invade the itinerary, Captains will sail a route around it. I hope your voyage is smooth....we are doing the Southern Caribbean this coming November and we are very excited about it!
