Sorry Mods if this is in the wrong place but I've asked on the Tecchy board and had no response....

On my old laptop running Windows 7 I used to get a preview of the thread by placing the mouse cursor over the title. Now on my new lappy running Windows 8 I don't get that any more ?
Any ideas peeps ?

I am not a techy at all but have no problems on my Windows 8 laptop hovering and finding out more about the thread before opening it.

Also running 8.1 and no problems with a preview on IE11 but I don't get a preview when viewing on Chrome Version 42.0.2311.90
So maybe its the browser you are using.

It is a Chrome browser problem only. Turn off Touch Screen settings in Chrome to get Hover ability.

Do this: chrome://flags/ find Enable touch events. By default it's set to Automatic, change it to Deactivated.
