Fort Wilderness TV Program Alert!

I did a search of RV programs and up came RV Roadtrips - this next monday from 2:00 a.m. -2:30 a.m. on DIY (do it yourself channel)- (tape it!). This program says it's about Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground (2006) , A family new to the hobby of RV travel rent an RV before committing to a purchase. Host Gary Bunzer walks them through the basics of driving the vehicle and setting up once they arrive at their destination, Fort Wilderness at Disney World.
Maybe this is a repeat but i recently got this channel and have never had a chance to see it. Just thought i'd mention it in case anyone else wants to see it (again) or for the first time. Sounds like it'll be interesting!

I didn't either so i called the cable co. and said how much to upgrade to next tier and it was only $4 more a month! so i said, DO IT! i'd pay that just for this one program, lol. Found alot of other RV shows in the process on my new channels! (RV Today, RVTV).

Thanks for this head's up! I'm addicted to the RV shows just because of the ones that go to FW! I could probably help someone out with their RV and I've never owned one!!

There is one show I saw before but didn't get a chance to record. It is also an rv camping show but what was different about this one was the excellent footage of the inside of the cabins. They even had one of Disney's chefs inside a cabin making a homemade sauce for BBQ. Does anyone remember this show? It was sometime in the past year I believe.

That was RVToday. The problem with that show is that they rerun the show so often. We get it on OLM.

I saw this show the night it originally aired, and only by accident. It's a really interesting look at Ft. Wilderness, and if anything it will make you homesick for it. The entire show isn't on Ft. Wilderness, I believe it is about a 15 minute spot, but they show a lot of stuff, including shots of River Country and the old train I believe.

If you've never seen it, definitely watch it, it's one of the better Ft. Wilderness pieces I've ever seen on air.

The Feb. 19th show is the repeat of RV Roadtrips on DIY Channel. I missed it last time so if anybody has it taped I would love to see it.

Just a heads up - they show very little Fort Wilderness on this episode (just enough to make you mad that they didn't show any more). It's more about this family who rent (and then decide to buy) a diesel pusher mh (which again makes me mad/envious since we'll never be able to afford one of those)...well it doesn't really make me mad, I'm grateful for my life but still...some out there may know what I mean?
