I am wonderinf if we stay in a Ft Wilderness Cabin at the Resort and campground, can we use the pool and emnities at the Fort Wilderness Lodge. We are a family of 6 and I would like to stay at the cabins, but also like the pool and playground at the lodge. Thanks

Welcome to the Dis Boards. Do you mean the Wilderness Lodge? If so, I'm sorry to say no, you aren't supposed to. The pools and playgrounds at the lodge are for resort guests only.

Fort Wilderness Cabins and Campground is not the same as the Wilderness Lodge. You can't go to the Wilderness Lodge and use the pool or other amenities.

I know it sounds like they would be the same, but they're not. They are next to each other, but both are seperate resorts. The campground does have two pools, although they are pretty plain, but it also has a lot of neat stuff to do on its own.

So, sorry that you can't use the Wilderness Lodge amenities, but you should still look into the campground - it has a lot to offer, and my family enjoyed it when we stayed there. Just so you know, though, the campground is so big that from the cabins, you take an internal bus to everything else, including the other transportation, so it's not always the most convenient place to be.

Sorry, just read your original post again and you mentioned playgrounds. The campground has several of its own, as well as a petting zoo, and beach (not for swimming), boat rental, campfire singalong and movie, the horse barn, bikes... anyway, if you're looking for kid stuff to do, it's a good spot. The Hoop-dee-doo Revue is also there, although it's pricey.
