i heard that water transportation around the 7 seas lagoon is limited right now. Anyone know if this includes the small ferries to fort wilderness from MK?

It is my understanding that the large ferry between the TTC and the MK is the only one up and running right now. Of course this could change at any moment.

My friend arrived today and booked the Ferrytale Wishes cruise for tonight. I wonder if that will run?

I wonder if other water transportation is shut down. What about the boats from Disney Springs to Saratoga Springs, OKW, POFQ and POR.

From the HUB

As of 9:26pm on Wednesday, June 15, the Magic Kingdom Ferry Boats are now in service.

All other watercraft on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake remain unavailable and additional busses continue to assist our Guests in these areas.

All resort beach areas and recreational marinas are currently closed. We apologize for this inconvenience.

I just left MK and saw what looked like a resort ferry on the water. I cannot say for what resort, or if it was actually running with passengers.

Very interested in this.. we have lunch reservations at Trail's End one day, and we might want to change things if there is no boat option. Please keep us posted!

To clarify...
Ferry boats only run form MK to TTC. They are the BIG boats.

The Boats that run on the Seven Seas lagoon and Bay Lake are called launch boats and cruiser boats. Those boats re opened yesterday. They stayed closed after the body was found Wednesday night because Orange County still had control over the lake and lagoon trying to find the gator. They did open the ferry boat path to allow for firework exit at around 9:45, worked out well because most of the watercraft crew was allowed to leave early that evening. Firework cruises and the water pageant were back in operation this evening.

Other boats on other bodies of water at WDW were not affected by thr shut downs. All beaches were and remained closed. Boat rentals for guest use were closed and re opened today.
