Fort Pierce/Jensen Beach Area

Hoping the dis family can help. My daughter's softball team will be playing over spring break in Ft. Pierce, FL. They are staying at the Econo Lodge. I do not want to stay in the same hotel as a bunch of high school kids so I have been looking for alternate lodging. I found Vistana Resort at Jensen Beach that offers a 2 bedroom villa for $139 per night and it is located right on the ocean. It gets good reviews on Trip Advisor. Does anyone here know about this resort? Other suggestions? It will be nice to have the small kitchen to help provide food for the softball team.

We stayed there a few years ago and liked it very much. Only complaint was black stuff on the bottom of our feet every time we came from the beach. You had to stop and scrub it off or it got on the floors and everything else.

There are two buildings and we had the one closest to the beach. The beach is narrow at high tide. We left our bedroom slider open and it was like sleeping on the beach.

Other than that, I don't remember a lot about it.
