Morning all.

I got crapped on earlier this morning by a bird that my charming cat (Ojo-the murderer) brought in from my yard. He came in the back door..as I had it hooked open for him. Lots of noise in the neighborhood as work crews are working on our gas lines. I know this freaks the cat out..so I figured I'd keep the door hooked open so he could come in on his own. Sure enough he comes through the door... Drops the bird..which isn't dead(which at first I thought was a good thing, until it started flying around the kitchen. Pooping on the white cabinets..then on me..then flew into the dining room.
Cat's lookin' like this is great. Indoor hunting. Luckily my husband is home on vacation this week, and he managed to corner the bird. Threw a towel over him and set him free into a neighbors yard. Bob comes back in the house and looks at me..bird crap on my shoulder, cleaning up bird crap in the kitchen. This, all before the coffee has even been made. He starts laughing his *** off. What a wonderful start to the day.
He's trying to tell me that having a bird **** on ya, is good luck.
Really.. because I'm not feelin' so lucky.
I'm gonna buy a lottery ticket...I'll let ya know.

Phyllis, I hope your crappy day has gotten better.

Not trying to rub it in everyone, but I sure am looking forward to my Fort trip in just 9 days!!!!!

Yes, you will be there Monday, you litle stinker. I won't pull in until Saturday, but this trip will be 10 days and I'm especially looking forward to that. We've requested the 1700 loop so be on the lookout for us! Really, really hope to meet you, Jim, and maybe some other fiends.

I've always wanted to make Dave cry...

but I would much rather get together with Liv and Jim!

I don't know if we will all get together at the same time (I think Jim leaves the same day you get there), but I will be on the lookout for you. We are planning on doing copious amounts of looping! I'll post our site number when we get there!

Say it ain't so!!! I re-worked this whole vacation just so I could meet Jim and he's not even gonna be there for me to see!! This is simply unacceptable! Lisa, this was, of course, before I knew when you were coming. In fact, it might have even been before you joined the DIS. However, I remember when you posted your dates, I got all at the thought of meeting you. Hey, will you please take care of them there lovebuggers before I arrive.

Well, unless it's sweet tea. Oh and being as Jim is not interested in extending his stay just so he can meet me rotfl2 I guess we'll have to photo shop him in. Lisa is much better with techy stuff than me, so I'll put her in charge of that.

I may have to pack my tent, stow away in someones RV and freeload a sand pad.
