Fort Desoto in Pinellas County, FL

I'm looking for suggestions for motor home sites with the best water view. My sister wants us to take our RV over to Fort Desoto, when she comes to visit. I looked at their website and the oceanfront sites do not allow motor homes. Any recommendations? TIA

there are three different camping areas, the only area that does not allow high profile vehicles is area 1 due to low tree limbs, area 2 now allows pets.

I am originally from St Pete and Ft Desoto had been hit in years past pretty bad with hurricianes. It has changed and is not as beautiful as it was in years past. My parents still live there (though we do not anymore) and tourism at Ft Desoto has taken a hit. Just thought I'd share.
