Hello All, am I correct in reading one of the posts that the babycenters are stocked
with formula. I went 4 years ago with my oldest DD and had no idea! We are going again this
December with our new daughter (who will be 6 months), I would like to know if this was correct info--or if something has changed! Thanks!

They sell Carnation formula at the Baby Care Centers. I have no idea how much they charge, but I'm sure the price is sky high!

We went with our 7 month old who was on formula. What I did was bought the ready to feed formula directly from the company and had them ship it to the Polynesian. It was waiting for us when we got there. That way we didn't have to hunt it down at a store out there. It worked well for us.

they also sell Isomil. We needed some last April and got it at the baby center. I can't remeber how much it cost but its was expensive.

We brought powdered formula with us. I mixed it as I needed it in the parks.

I have found the enfamil easy ones powder packets to be the best thing for travelling. They are tubes of formula powder. Each makes 4 ounces. I throw a bottle of water, some powder packets & a bottle into my bag & mix it when I need it. Then I drink the rest of the water myself :)

Here they are on Netgrocer:

The baby centers are a very nice place to go to change your child. They are air conditioned, have a small (very small) play area, and about 3 or 4 changing tables and a crib also a bathroom. I also remember a small room with a tv playing Disney videos. While I chaged my ds, my dh and dd waited "out front" where there were a few chairs set up and got to sit in the air conditioning. If I am by one this trip in Aug. I will bring my just potty trained ds in there to go to the bathroom.
Off the subject, I really liked the family restrooms. I could go in there with my ds and dd. Change my ds diaper (whenever we were out, he would never lay down to change his diaper, I always had to do it while he stood up) and my dd and I could go to the bathroom and all be together.
