Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

Thanks for the tip!

Thanks, I really appreciate the name and tip. I don't have much luck getting straight anwers from people at Disney (check over on the Restaurants board in the Cake thread for the never ending odyssey that is ordering a cake for my birthday :rotfl: ), so having a specific person to ask for is much appreciated.

I'm a tad older and still have a bunch of BSB stuff in the house, haha. It's all stored away though, except the CDs.

I still have some BSB CD's and *nsync CD's. :rolleyes1

I didn't know you could get a Disney basket! I don't know if they'd do Once Upon a Dream with a Cinderella motif, though, because that song is from Sleeping Beauty. But I suppose they can do anything you want. :goodvibes

When is your birthday? Mine is April 25th. We won't say how old I'll be. :cool2:

Thanks for kind words. :goodvibes I'm trying to learn more about photography. I would like to upgrade to a DSLR in a while. For now, I'm using a Fuji s6000. I like it, because it's in-between...bigger than a point-and-shoot, but small enough to still put in my purse (a safari bag from Animal Kingdom :thumbsup2) so I have it all times.

I'm so glad I take it with me everywhere...we saw this moose on the way to the grocery store a couple of weeks ago...

I know it would be more convenient to keep a smaller camera in my bag, but I think I would not push myself then to learn more by having the other one (does that make sense?)

Makes perfect sense to me. I jumped into the DSLR without knowing what I was doing. Took one free class. The camera guy started showing me all kinds of stuff and I was like :scared1: please don't touch my camera! I'll never get it back to where I know what I'm doing. :lmao: I keep it on automatic, landscape or what I call the sports mode.

Love your moose picture. Here's one I took last September at Denali:

And because I just love this little guy (taken on a cruise of Kenai Fjords Nat'l Park):

And I can't resist not including a picture of Mt. McKinley:

Sorry everyone, now back to your regular scheduled programming...:)

Thanks for sharing those wonderful photos. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the tip!

Sigh. This is the problem I'm dealing with. I need to find a bookcase for the den. Got one from Target, got it home and it just didn't look right. Cut the room off too much. So, we're moving that in the guest room, and resuming our search for the den. We need some kind of open shelves (i.e. with no back to them). I hope I find another one soon. I've had snowglobes sitting on the floor or still in their boxes for far too long, not to mention my way to large plush collection. I better hope if I ever have kids, they like Disney stuff. :lmao:

do you have an ikea near you?

regarding the yacht trip: that should have said GF, not GR. sorry.

HONU! How great to see you! I'm so glad you're doing well. I'm still praying for you. :wizard:

Sorry everyone, now back to your regular scheduled programming...:)

Sharing pictures IS our regularly scheduled programming - we love seeing them. And yours are absolutely gorgeous - so nice that you got the little critters to stay so still!

Your comment about your DSLR makes me happy for my point and shoot - I would be so worried about the equipment [because I am such a klutz] that I wouldn't want to take it anywhere. What kind do you have [even though I'm not buying one, I do love to drool at them]? Do you have other lenses to go with it?

Thanks SD! I hope all is going well on your end too.

Thanks Robin! Much appreciated.

Yay for a happy Honu day!

He looked so cute with the ears on....:goodvibes. I liked the grumpy hat too.

Thanks! Yes, it felt good to have a good day. Kind of paying for it now, but we're still doing OK.

For anyone who wants to know, yes, Billy put the ears on.

 Hi Honu!!! So nice to see you posting!!!!

Blestmom - gorgeous pics!!!:goodvibes

So - DH has a 'friend' who sells bootleg movies. :rolleyes1 One of them was Benjamin Buttons, and we watched it this past weekend.

I have two words for it:

Long movie.

:rotfl: It was very good actually. :thumbsup2 I would have never made it that long in the theater to watch it, though. I guarantee I would have been to the bathroom at least four times in that time frame. I hate that 'cause then you miss the good parts.

I'm hoping to get Song of the South. popcorn::

There are several places online to get region free DVD's of Song of the South. Just do some searching and researching. Prices vary, so don't just grab the first one on the list.

Quality varies as well. It depends on the original source and the transfer method.

I've seen some threads here on it. :thumbsup2 But I'm worried about what the quality will be like. The movies we have received so far from this 'friend' have been outstanding. I'm impressed. At least I know I'll have a shot at quality, and we'll only pay $5 for it. :rotfl:

So far we got (with a Manahmahnah review for each one):

Beverly Hills Chihuahua - I give it 3
dope.gif
dope.gif

for stupidness, although the pug in it was superb. :thumbsup2

Taken - I give it 5 :scared::scared::scared::scared::scared: ( don't watch if you having family leaving the country)

Mall Cops - I give it 2 :laughing::laughing:

The rest we haven't watched yet.

BTW- DH is a terrible movie picker - I had to send him with a list this time. :rotfl2:

I'll be back with another movie review. popcorn:: :rotfl:

DH can't pick movies, either. Such bad taste. :lmao: But I never get to pick them.

Hi everyone! It's me! I've officially been discharged from the hospital and I'm in the hotel next door until Wednesday. I'm doing pretty well. I got up and walked to the gift shop twice yesterday. I've been eating like a horse. I have a drip coming from my nose, but they don't think it's the bad kind of leak. They think it's just the lining of my nose being a poop head, but they are going to watch it for the next few days. I look like Charlie Chaplin with a gauze mustache... :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

To everyone who took the time to send cards, gifts and everything...

THANK YOU!!!!!!!

It was very much appreciated. I was having a bit of a rough day yesterday before it arrived and it really cheered me up. Y'all are a great bunch. I just don't have the words to express how much your support means to me.

And Debbie, thanks for organizing it and for the fantastic blanket! It has really come in handy and I love the fabric. You picked out the perfect one. I slept with it all night.

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

I'll try to get on later. Nap time again. :rolleyes1 Or maybe a shower...

I am so happy you are doing well! Praying for a speedy recovery.:goodvibes

"The ash is falling...the ash is falling!"

How is everything today?

Hmmm, Alf vs. Mork? Tough to say because I grew up watching and loving both of them. I remember collecting the Alf dolls that they use to sell at Burger King.
