Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

Thanks for sharing those wonderful photos. :thumbsup2

Sharing pictures IS our regularly scheduled programming - we love seeing them. And yours are absolutely gorgeous - so nice that you got the little critters to stay so still!

Your comment about your DSLR makes me happy for my point and shoot - I would be so worried about the equipment [because I am such a klutz] that I wouldn't want to take it anywhere. What kind do you have [even though I'm not buying one, I do love to drool at them]? Do you have other lenses to go with it?

Thanks! I have a Nikon D40, the low end of the DSLRs (if there is such a thing :rotfl:). It comes with a 18-55mm lense and I bought a 55-200mm lense. I could use up to a 300 mm one because I love to take pictures of wildlife and landscapes. Maybe someday....sigh

I can't believe it's already after 7pm. The days are getting longer and I'm loving it!!

Yes, longer cold days...just what we need...it's going to be 30 degrees here tonight.

Poor thing. :teeth: We're having weather in the upper 60's, and by the end of the week will be in the mid 70's.:cool1: It's almost time to open up the pool.:yay: :woohoo:

We're 46* right now, tonight in the mid-30's. :guilty: Tomorrow will be in the upper 40's and rainy, of course.

::yes::::yes::::yes::

Thanks! Yes, it felt good to have a good day. Kind of paying for it now, but we're still doing OK.

For anyone who wants to know, yes, Billy put the ears on.

 Hi Honu :flower3:

It's good...we're getting some snow, which is covering up the gray ash.

:scared:ewwwwwwww ashy snow :santa:

Hi everyone! It's me! I've officially been discharged from the hospital and I'm in the hotel next door until Wednesday. I'm doing pretty well. I got up and walked to the gift shop twice yesterday. I've been eating like a horse. I have a drip coming from my nose, but they don't think it's the bad kind of leak. They think it's just the lining of my nose being a poop head, but they are going to watch it for the next few days. I look like Charlie Chaplin with a gauze mustache...

Woo! I was going to try and have my friend down there check in on you, but she never got online :/

Now recover, then tell me how NASA was :thumbsup2

Good morning all!

Took a look at the first page. All I can say is....yawn :surfweb:

NASA was the best freaking tour EVER!!!!!!! It was so much fun. I'll write more about it later. Having more headaches. But they're normal I guess for what I had done. It's going to be a long flight home tomorrow...

Cannot believe you are already planning on going home! That is amazing. I am still flabbergasted you had brain surgery and you are on your way back to Washington so soon. Hope those headaches stop soon! We will be looking for your next post!

Donna, Sorry if I missed the explanation earlier, but where was that picture taken, Wilderness Lodge?

I know! It's crazy, isn't it? I went for a little retail therapy today. Ahhh, that felt so good! My headache is better, I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the air pressure changes down here. :confused3 I'm pretty sensitive to the weather, so we'll see how that works when I get out of here. :woohoo: I'm going to miss Houston though. I really like it here. :yay:

Glad you made it through surgery and you're coming back soon.

Thanks Tink! I'll have the pilot fly through a Sonic on the way home. I'll pick it up and drop it out the window with a little parachute as we fly over. :rotfl::lmao::rotfl2: Yes, I remember, extra Sonic ice! :thumbsup2

I hope the flight home isn't too bad. hugs and no-headache wishes. :grouphug:

Thanks! This is like flying with the worst cold/ sinus crap you've ever had so I'm going to take some phenergan and knock myself out for each leg.

I've learned that there are some things in life I'll never take for granted again.

Things like the ability to blow my nose!!!!!!!!!!!!
