Former Lasagne Lovers Meet Here!!!

you ain't kidding... I don't even want to do this popcorn:: anymore. :sad2:

I am suffering from PTW (political thread withdrawl). ;) Maybe I didn't post alot but I certainly nodded my head in agreement while reading.

:)

I feel the same way....I don't log on as much because of the withdrawl.

It's in the high 50s here, almost spring!

Have a safe flight home Honu!

Thanks! I'm so not looking forward to it, but it'll be nice to be home with my puppies. Don't care about anything else but my puppies and my horse. It's all I need.

Donna, Sorry if I missed the explanation earlier, but where was that picture taken, Wilderness Lodge?

Hi DisneyMomOK, if you're referring to my siggie picture - that was a picture of three of my grandkids taken at the Animal Kingdom Lodge last Christmas. :) It's a bit small. I should resize it.

At least it's got me venturing out to the other boards (mostly reading trip reports).

Pets are the best medicine! :goodvibes Have a safe flight home Honugirl!

Yup, they are! They know when you're not feeling well and will just lay there with you.

Thanks! If something splatters on your house tomorrow night, don't worry, it's just my head exploding. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I've been lurking on an interesting site for discussion/debate of current issues. PM me if you'd be interested in the link.

You're welcome! Yup, a nice rain hat or umbrella might be a good idea. :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

Honugirl, How are you feeling? Is the headache better? How long a flight is it home? Flying with a headache is never fun. I hope it goes well. I am sure you are looking forward to being home again!

Thanks for asking! My headache is better now. It was really bad this morning. We'll see what happens tomorrow. We leave here at 6:45 pm CDT and get home at 11:45 PDT, so it's going to be a long haul. We have to check out of the hotel @ 1 pm. I hope I have enough energy to make it!

I'm looking forward to being home, yes. It'll be nice. I can finally choose my own tv channels again! Ha ha ha. :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: No snoring to contend with, other than my own! Woohoo!!!!!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I talked to the surgeon this morning and he said what I'm going through is perfectly natural, but if it continues for 10-14 more days I have to go on antibiotics because it could be a sinus infection. Sigh. So lets all hope and pray that I don't have to do that... They wait though because they don't want to give them to you willy nilly and create the possibility of growing super bugs.

Oh, dear, what a long day for you tomorrow. I hope you have a safe, careful trip home. We will all be anxious to hear how you are, once you make it home.

Thanks! Yes, it's going to be long. I'm trying to figure out the optimum time to take the phenergan and knock myself out for the ride home. It's probably going to be the best thing for me to do. I should organize all my stuff tonight... but I'm too lazy to do it. :rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

I'll be thinking of you, and praying for safe travels.

Evening everyone!

I saw this story today and thought that it was really cool:

Sick Sea Turtle Swims Right to Hospital Doorstep

A sick sea turtle swims to the doorstep of the only place in the world that is licensed solely to treat turtles

By TODD WRIGHT

Why did the sea turtle cross the Florida Keys? To go to the doctor.

A loggerhead sea turtle nearly swam to the door step of the Florida Keys Turtle Hospital, the only licensed veterinary facility in the world that solely treats sea turtles.

The 73-pound reptile was suffering from a bacterial infection and somehow knew exactly where to go for help -- no Yellow Pages needed.

Staff members at the hospital actually waited several hours before treating the turtle because they thought it may have just been lost when it showed up at the dock of the treatment center.

But the turtle stuck around, probably unaware of the Turtle Hospital's "no walk-ins" policy.

Eventually, he was treated with meds and now has a new home in a blue tank until he's all better.

No doubt, the hospital will get plenty of referrals from their new patient when he is back with his friends -- Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael.

Aww, I'm sure your puppies miss you as much as you miss them. Hope you feel great for your flight home tomorrow. Let us all know when you arrive safe and sound.

Thanks! I'll probably hop on Thursday morning. It'll be too late by the time we get home tomorrow.

Humphrey, I saw that earlier. Very cool! I've been to that turtle hospital for a tour. It's in Marathon, FL. Very well worth it if you like turtles and have the time.

Hi Honu...have a blessed safe trip and let us know you got there fine...after you say hello to your furry family:hug:

I saw that Turtle story and thought it was so sweet. He looked like he was smiling an clapping as they picked him up:lmao:

Where you flying into, Seatac or Portland?

I saw that turtle story. Some things are just unexplainable!

We saw a commercial for resident evil 5 game. DH says, "Wanna watch a zombie movie?" :scared1: He asks because he knows I'm scared of zombies. Yes, totally irrational but I can't help it.
I'll get him someday. :rolleyes1
