Former FP+ areas for Wishes

Yes as far as I know they start selling them at 10:00 or 10:30 AM for same day and the old FP area on the East side is reserved for same day reservations.

The East side is for everyone doing the Wishes desert party. Not just same day

I did read it was for same day but the ones who have already reserved the party at the Terrace can move to the Plaza Garden.

Those who book the "Wishes Dessert Party" in advance are seated at Tomorrowland Terrace tables,
in the order that they show up and check in. (Boo!)

Those who wait to book the "Wishes Dessert Party" on the "day-of" are given passes to the East Hub viewing area.
(Yes, they are now offering MORE availability to the "Wishes Dessert Party" due to
the increased space at the East Hub viewing area.)

Everyone dines on their desserts inside the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant.
(Reports say that there are two separate serving areas for desserts.)

Of those who booked in advance, if there are some who want to go to the East Hub viewing area,
they will be allowed to do so, up to the point that the East hub viewing area is "full."

Yes, I think the last ones were some time in April but not 100%.

What a bummer! We were just there 3d week of April and they were still offering it (though all booked up). At least I'm glad we got to do that in March with my mom who has dementia (and would not have done well in a big crowd, especially afterwards), and my 4 year old who was exhausted and was able to watch from her stroller. This last trip we watched from the end of Main Street and I couldn't believe how many adults had no problem standing right in front of a little kid.
