Formatting broken?

Anybody else having trouble? Bold, italic, emojis, etc? All the keys are grayed out on my Amazon Fire, and even coding on my own does nothing.

I believe you should try these brackets: [ ] instead of < >

using < >: <b>test</b>
using [ ]: test


I haven't tried the coding on my iphone, but the forum formatting tools are working for me.

Sometimes mine are also grayed out but clicking on the settings ‘gear’ activates them.
