We are going to re-book our September 05 cruise on our Sep 04 cruise. I am going to book 2 rooms and one is for my mom. Can I pay with a check from her? Can we pay with a check or charge our deposit? How does that work? I want to make sure she gets the 10% discount as well and the stateroom credit so do both rooms have to be in my name? As far as the KTTW cards...i dont' want her KTTW card linked with my CC...will they allow us to link hers to a different card?
Thanks,

I don't know if you can pay by check for the re-booking. Others said that you could, but when I re-booked, it wasn't an option. I didn't have the money in my account the day I re-booked, so she waited until pay day to charge my debit/credit card. (The Saturday we got off the boat). It was a separate transaction from my on-board charges. I could have used two or three cards if I wanted.

As far as the KTTW card, yes you can have you mom's card link to a different card than yours. You just have to fill out your documents appropriately - there's one that asks who you want to be on your card.

Not sure if both rooms need to be in your name when you re-book.

you can charge to the credit card you have on file your deposit. The easiest thing to do would be have your mom give you the deposit money and you pay that on your credit card in advance.
If mom is having a seperate cabin she will get her own set of documents, and can put her own credit card up for the charges on that room regardless of what card was used for the initial deposit.

Can only 1 KTTWC be linked to a different credit card? We will have our exchange student with us in one of our 2 staterooms. I would really prefer him to be able to use his key and have it go to his credit card rather than try to figure out all the charges at the end. That way my husband and I and our oldest child can use our cards for our credit card and his for his. Make sense? THanks for tips.

We just came back form the 4-day Wonder last week. We had such a great time with our travel companions that we priced the 7 day for next year. Or at least we tried to.

The woman at the desk gave us the wrong dates for the Western itinerary, so we thought at the time it wouldn't coincide with school vacation. Also, the price seemed rather high, even with the 10% discount and $200 room credit.

When we got home I started looking at the Disney Cruise site, got the right dates, and requested a quote for DU.

They were $400 cheaper than Disney quote, even taking into account the room credit!!!!!!!!!!

I would recommend you check around before you leave. The difference in price is quite a few trips to the spa:teeth:

Each KTTW card can be linked to a different credit card. You can do this at check in or later at guest services.

Donna (who does the re-booking on the Magic) is not my favorite cast member. She's given me wrong information each time I've talked with her about re-booking. THe first time, I just walked away and booked on my own from home...got a better deal than her price.

This time, I got internet prices before the cruise. She insisted that they were wrong or no longer available (I doubted that, but...). SO, I booked with her while on board, then on Monday when I arrived home, I re-checked the internet. Found the prices I had seen before on 4 different sites--these were legit Disney prices, not "reseller" prices. SO, I called DCL and told them what Donna had said and what I'd found on the internet. THey allowed me to change my reservation (keeping the same ressie number as well as the 10% discount and $200 onboard credit.)

I've heard tales of her matching rates that people have printed out, then applying the discount and credit. My suggestion is that you do your homework and print out any offers you find. When booking 6-12 months ahead, it is unlikely that a rate has changed over a few days, but it's always possible.
