Form HRH to DTD?

We will be down in December (Christmas to New Years) And are using a towncar service from MCO to HRH. During our stay we would like to go from HRH to DTD. What are the options? has anyone used them and how have they worked out?

We typically had a rental car but opted not to this trip since we barely used it last trip and spent most of our time on property.

A cab and Mears are the other options. We've used a cab and it is about $35-40.

I think that's what I might look into...I believe they have a rental desk right at the HRH. I just didin't know if I was missing any other options. Thank You.

there is also a car rental company down the street from the hotels, besides at the hotels.

rent the car when you leave.
it could be the cheapest way to handle the transportation situation.

We are renting a car too..Our trip next year we are going to Miami after RPR so we will rent a car the night before and will visit DTD that night....then leave for Miami in morning...

you could do same but use car to go back to MCO...

I just did a check on the Hertz site for a one day rental at the HRH and it's probably about $100.00-$125.00. If we are going to make a couple of stops and maybe have dinner out it probably makes sense to rent for the day.

Check out some of the other companies also and compare the price for the rental.

at the Double Tree, which is near UO, they have Avis car rental counter on site.
Enterprise and National car companies are near UO. they are at 7299 Universal Blvd.

i know there are others.
do a google search if you are not satisfied with the rate you are getting with Hertz.

I think I will check some other rates with the other companies...if there is not a big difference I'll probably stay with Hertz since I can get the car right at the hotel (HRH) and return it there also for a day trip.
