Forget Mayan Calender 2012 prediction...

What is everyone worried about with May 21, 2011? That is supposedly when the Rapture happens. Thus, if you believe, then certainly there is nothing to worry about, but plenty to hope and rejoice about. If it is wrong, then nothing happens and life goes on.

If you don't believe, then obviously nothing should happen. But if you are wrong If you don't believe and it turns out to be true, that is when you need to worry and if it does turn out to be true, I'm sure many who don't believe will suddenly change their tune and all should be well with them again.

Now is this an all at once kind of thing, or is it going by time zones? Will Eastern or Pacific go first? Or will it be a continent by continent thing-maybe alphabetical?

I may be wrong, but I don't think anyone posting is worried about it.

The article on familyradio.com is so strongly guaranteeing that May 21, 2011 is the end of the world, the Rapture, etc. I won't make fun of them, but I don't believe it and I really can't wait to see what explanation they come up with when it doesn't happen.

I'm sticking with December 21st, 2012.

Note: No religion debate from me.

and really...is it the "end of the world?" or the "end of the age of Grace?" Big difference. :)

I think the man is getting up there in years and really, really wants the Second Coming to happen in his lifetime. I'm sure Jack Van Impe does too. Sounds like both of these people have spent the better part of their lives studying and waiting for it. One thing can be said, it is closer today than it was yesterday. :) And, I do think many Biblical things have come to pass that point to it. I just think it is not good to predict dates. JMHO

Good old Dr Jack and Rexella. I love both of them. I tune into to them every so often and have been for 20yrs.;)

 well, one thing about him is I don't think he predicts with dates, just keeps up with the current events. Come to think of it, it probably has been 20 yrs. since I first saw him and Rexella and that man with that deep, low voice on TV too. At least Rexella does not have big purple hair like one of those other church ladies.:rotfl: Do you think her daddy's name was Rex?;)

I wonder if these billboards might be featured as a sign on Jack's show? I may have to tune in to find out!

Pirates 4 comes out May 20th...Make sure you go see it opening night. You don't want to take a chance and miss Captain Jack!
:lmao:

I don't worry about the end of the world. I'll be dead, what do I care?

As God as my witness, The world will not end before I see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. :wizard:

I just took a picture of the billboard by my house. (I live in Brooklyn NYC). I'll post it in a few minutes.

I'm Catholic and I never heard of the end of the age of Grace. However, I checked out and I see it in the Bible. Hmmm...

Anyway, I don't think too many people believe that the Rapture will be taking place in 2 weeks, or otherwise I'd think we'd be hearing more about it except on a few billboards. Wouldn't it be on the news?? Not as fact, since many people don't believe in that, but as news that a major religion proclaims the end of the world.

Note: Not debating religion

Yes, the major religious institutions are being pretty quiet about all of this aren't they?

What does Nostradamus say? I had read that he never predicted the end of the world but some of the 2012 people claim that he did.

5/21 is my wedding anniversary. I think I'll celebrate on the 20th.
