Forecast - thunderstorms next 10 days

Im flying out of NYC to MCO tomorrow my flight is leaving around 9 pm supposed to labd around 11:30 should I be worried?

We are flying on United tonight leaving Chicago O'Hare at 6:44 pm and scheduled to arrive at MCO at 10:26 pm. So far, MCO is not listed on United's list of travel advisory airports. So, I'm hoping that means they will still allow our plane to depart, preferably on time!

Hey! I'll be on that flight, too. Maybe we can sit together :)

Thank you for your response!
We live in Columbus and will drive to Ocala (then the last hour Saturday morning).
We will get in i75 somewhere around Albany...
I guess our best bet will be to not leave Columbus until around 5pm :/ ugh... I really wanted to be in Ocala around 8... Oh well...

We are driving too, from TN. Planning to stay in Lake City Friday night. I think the storm will be past that area by then.

And we (Orlando) have just been put under a tornado watch until 11pm...even though it's not raining at all..at the moment

The weather so far hasn't been as bad as I expected this week. That said its true, were on tornado watch until 11pm tonight.....

Cat 1 Hurricane now. But it has some land to pass over in the next 36 hrs so good possibility it will weaken.
Weather Channel still has it at Hatteras, NC on Sat morning with winds at 45mph.

I'm watching an inbound SW flight from Philly to Tampa. They are headed across PA WSW towards WV then south. That is one heck of an ominous sight on radar in Tampa. Judging by the flight path Sat am flight will be way in clear as long as the storm stays near the NC coast. Really feeling better now. image.jpeg

Conditions are quickly about to go downhill over North Florida. Hopefully no one is thinking about driving right through it tonight.

Orlando will get some lines of squalls but nothing consistent, it will be in waves and should wane by Friday afternoon.

I am trying to make it to Brunswick GA by midnight and then hunker down. Ready to abort if conditions warrant

Just saw on the news, Clearwater, Tampa, and Sarasota seem to be worsening.:eek: STAY SAFE and smart!:wizard:

I've been watching the flights from Newark to Orlando, and some of the flight changes they had to do is pretty extreme.

This is the usual flight path;

This is the one they had to use in the last two days;
