We are flying on United tonight leaving Chicago O'Hare at 6:44 pm and scheduled to arrive at MCO at 10:26 pm. So far, MCO is not listed on United's list of travel advisory airports. So, I'm hoping that means they will still allow our plane to depart, preferably on time!
Hey! I'll be on that flight, too. Maybe we can sit together![]()
Thank you for your response!
We live in Columbus and will drive to Ocala (then the last hour Saturday morning).

I guess our best bet will be to not leave Columbus until around 5pm :/ ugh... I really wanted to be in Ocala around 8... Oh well...

I am trying to make it to Brunswick GA by midnight and then hunker down. Ready to abort if conditions warrant![]()
Conditions are quickly about to go downhill over North Florida. Hopefully no one is thinking about driving right through it tonight.
Orlando will get some lines of squalls but nothing consistent, it will be in waves and should wane by Friday afternoon.
I'm watching an inbound SW flight from Philly to Tampa. They are headed across PA WSW towards WV then south. That is one heck of an ominous sight on radar in Tampa. Judging by the flight path Sat am flight will be way in clear as long as the storm stays near the NC coast. Really feeling better now. View attachment 191381
