So the same applies to a tropical system. If you are scheduled to be flying over North Florida early Friday morning, then the flight path will likely be shifted east or west to avoid any direct involvement. The major problem is if the system is directly over the airport, which would then make it unlikely for landings or takeoffs. Since it will be nowhere near OIA, that won't be an issue.
