As said after Friday night that tropical storm will move out. Plus it's tracking more north now. After that it's back to normal isolated storms. It's supposed to pour rain non stop almost the entire week starting sometime tomorrow night or Monday through next Sunday when we leave. I'll do the Parks in rain, but can't do it in torrential down pours.
Unfortunately it's going to be a huge waste of money. Can't even swim in the pool at our rental home.
We are flying in Saturday morning from Philly, and we aren't changing anything. It should be gone by then hopefully. We're flying Southwest, and they are making me nervous having Sept 3rd on their advisory list and Orlando. Other airlines don't even include Orlando on their list, or 9/3. We are just going to keep our plans as they are and hope nothing needs to change. We are supposed to fly in Saturday morning since it was a last minute trip and flights were too high Friday. Would you say the flights on Friday from Houston to Orlando might be affected? I have the opportunity to move it to Friday, but would that be silly when the storm is going to be going to North Florida on Thursday night/Friday? Thanks!

Southwest has advisories posted for all flights to Mco from 9-1 to 9-3.
What doe advisories mean? We are at Disney and friends of ours are here and leaving tomorrow from MCO at 9pm. They are concerned they will be affected. Do you think they will? They are flying to NJ.
Every other airline does not list MCO on their advisory list. Southwest is the only one of course lol. Hope they update it and we have no problems flying in on Saturday!Southwest has advisories posted for all flights to Mco from 9-1 to 9-3.
Our initial plan was to leave Friday afternoon around 1ish and drive to Ocala. (We always drive there and the last hour in the morning to have a full first day at the resort)!
We are about 2 hours south of Atlanta and will hit i75...
I am really concerned about driving into tons of rain/some wind. I know it's supposed to make landfall Thursday night/early Friday morning...
Any insight? Should we still leave as planned or wait a few more hours and leave around 5/6 pm (which I really wanted to avoid due to extra traffic)...

All of the radars show it no where near Orlando.. obviously it will still effect Orlando a bit but I dont think theres reason to freak out. Am I the only one surprised that this many people are panicking? Its september... in florida... this happens every year.....
Maybe I'm the crazy one but I just don't see anything to worry over!
