My husband doesn't like heights, but doesn't get motion sickness. How much of this ride is like you are flying?

The ride is almost all made to feel like you are flying. There is quie a bit where you are flying high in the air and suddenly dropping down as well. However, I am terrified of heights but I have no problem on this ride because I am inside a building and for some reason the heights in these screen rides (same with Soarin') don't bother me. I cannot ride the outside tall roller coasters because of the slow ride up the hills but FJ is fun for me so you hubby might like it too! Has he done Soarin' at Epcot? FJ is more intense from a movement standpoint but same idea with feeling like you are high. If he is fine with Soarin' and doesn't have motion sickness then I think he will be fine.

This is good advice. If he can do Soarin' then I think he'd be ok with FJ. There is much more movement with FJ but the height aspect feels about the same.

To me, the *flying* part is mainly towards the beginning, but the sensation is gone if you simply close your eyes.

The rest of it is just being tossed around on the robot arm holding the seats. Doesn't feel like flying to me at all.

I hate heights and completely adored this ride. It feels like flying but not like you are scary high if that makes sense. He should definitely try it because it's the m out amazing ride I've ever done!
