For those with Disney Visa Cards

we have done this pretty much every time we are at disneworld and we get it done out here at dca a few times over the years. it is pretty cool actually. just show the visa card and in you go. nice way to remember the trip actually. we have never gotten a photo pass cd but these are included with any other pics they take of you in the parks.
we just go in and choose what pic out of the meet and greet ones and that is it. easy peasy

This sounds like double dipping but correcting me if you know this to be true.

I just talked to Chase about my rewards visa. They said as a card holder, because I booked a vacation that included room and tickets, I will automatically get 0% financing on that charge for 6 payment periods. AND I do earn Disney rewards points. He did ask me if I was doing park/resort so I don't know if cruises are different but......do I really get both?

And my good problem to have is this.......
I've been saving points for a couple years and have a nice chunk of points I could use to pay down my vacation, should I or save them for another vacation?

I was going to use them for dining, but turns out I got free dining. (another good problem to have :cool1:)

And then I thought souvenirs, but then I would not get the 10% discount on over $50 purchases.

:confused3 Oh what to do?????? I know!!! Good problem to have!

I'm open to people helping me weigh this out.

Yes, all WDW packages get 0% for 6 months plus your earned rewards. For example, your $200 deposit would get 6 months and your balance would get its own 6 months. You can save your points for a future trip, but points expire 5 years from when you accrue them, so just make sure you do not lose them before putting them on a redemption card. Redemption cards expire on Dec 31 of the next year regardless of the date you order it. Meaning, I could order a redemption card on Jan 1,2013 or Nov 1, 2013, and either way, it would expire Dec 31,2014.

ETA: I'm pretty sure I still got the 10% off when using my redemption card instead of my actual Visa.
