I count WATP as moderate activity.
The book that comes with the new points booster defines "moderate" as activity you can talk during, but not sing, and you'll break a sweat after about 10 minutes. During "high" activity, you can talk only briefly, can't sing at all, and begin to sweat after 3-5 minutes.
(Probably a bad example. I can't sing standing still!)
Their examples of high intensity activity are running, competitive bicycling, and competitive swimming. I know I'm not pushing myself NEARLY that hard. Examples of moderate activity are brisk walking, brisk bicycling, and swimming slow laps. You're pushing your body, but not to an extreme.
Also, WW notes that members needing to lose 30 pounds or more should not exercise at a high intensity level without talking to their doctore or exercise specialist.
(No problem here- I couldn't do high intensity if you paid me!!!)
It sounds like most of us are probably at a moderate activity intensity level. High intensity sounds like athlete territory!
