For those who received their pins.

I joined May 2001...got my pins last week.

You know...you might contact Disney if you haven't gotten them & say you want them. I can't imagine how they could stop distribution when it seems so many people have received them.

The question I have is ....what WL pin?

We got ours on 10/22 . We joined DVC in 1995, and our last name begins with a "B". To DVC: ignore the naysayers and send everyone their pins. They are not in poor taste. We need to remember 9/11 for the tragedy and for the unity it brought us all . Disney is very American. Mickey has always been a very loving and a very patriotic figure in our culture. I felt the sentiment expressed with the quote from Walt Disney was something we all need now. I was surprised that a big corporation used its resources to do something so emotional in such a short time. Good job DVC.

I called members services and asked about not receiving mine and they said there was only a limited amount and they were only sent to a few... Guess I'm not "a lucky few"

What a sad statement that even an American flag themed pin shaped like Mickey can't be made in the USA. Does it bother anyone else to have almost all of the merchandise at Disney foreign made? We love our DVC membership but would gladly pay extra for goods made in this country to support USA companies who employ USA workers.

I'm very happy to report that we received ours today, here in Nutley, NJ. Last name..R. We love them. My husband put his right on his Fantasmic hat with the Fantasmic pins.

I hope every DVC member gets them. I think it would be terrible to only send them to a "select few," especially since all the DVCers here on the DIS know about them. I was feeling pretty bummed when we hadn't received ours, and then people started saying they stopped sending them. I'm totally missing the point of what people were complaining about. Disney is Americana itself. Why shouldn't they be able to send out a patriotic pin? If you don't want it, send it back!

And, I think they should offer them for sale at the resorts, as well. Isn't there another pin that is for DVC members only where you have to show your ID card. They can do the same because I have read that families are having a hard time deciding which "two" should get the pins.

BTW, what is the other pin that is just for DVC? I would like to pick one up when we are down there in 20 days. Where would I get it?

We just got our pins today here in Ohio, so if you haven't received yours, they are still mailing them and they are probably on thier way.

They are beautiful with a wonderful message. Nicely done, DVC.

We just returned from Disney for a week. Wow, what a trip! We got into the pin collecting and near the end of our trip, we were searching everywhere for the Mickey Flag pin. No such luck. Well, when we got home, what did we find in the mail.....the mickey flag pin. I let out an excited yell. What a nice surprise. On our first trip that involved collecting pins, I came home with 10! Isn't it exciting walking up to a cast member and trading them?! It was a Disney rush!!!
