For those people who lost their PE requested seats, it looks like the seat maps are back.

ive logged on today and I have been able to reselect my seats for both flights. :)

Got mine back for both flights as well. :cool1:

Not for our flight :confused3

Maybe they are doing it a few weeks at a time or something? We are flying end of Sept and returning mid October.

I was told by Virgins customer service to expect the seat maps back in mid to late june but ive been double checking each day just incase. Mine definately were not there yesterday morning so hopefully yours will be there soon. :goodvibes

I had checked my flights yesterday evening on a whim and you couldn't see the seat maps then, but after seeing this thread, I went back again just now and it's good news - there they are again!

Thanks for posting this. Our flights are back for October and we have just made our requests

We never lost our PE coming home but we did lose our economy seats going out. The seats we lost are back again today but we have decided to keep the new ones we took, original seats were back on row 47 & 48, new seats on 2nd & 3rd row in economy. Approx 150 people less to get off before us. Although we do like row 48 we think we will be better being one of 1st off the plane.

Can a mod change the title as it's wider ranging than LGW.

When we booked our return to MAN we couldn't book seats on the 747 returning only the A330 outbound. They've just appeared and we got in the bump, woohoo.

Thanks sooooo much OP, you just made our holiday.

Changed it as it also affects lost economy seats also.:thumbsup2

To be honest lost isn't actually accurate either as we never had seats on the 747, as long as everyone gets a chance before they get snapped up. So chuffed, was convinced we'd be downstairs.

Just noticed the seat plans for PE downstairs and think there has been a config change, not sure someone else might have a better memory.

PE downstairs on the 747 from MAN is now only two rows with a presumably thin divide to 3 new rows of economy when you turn left. I'm sure it was 4 rows before but feel free to correct me. If it has changed, could it mean it'll be a refit and we'll have the new seats and IFE on the 747? I assumed the bump wouldn't be PE after the refit.

Ours still not showing....guess it's because our flight is soon.

It's always been two rows downstairs. You won't have the new seats or IFE.

I also think there has been a configuration change. We had lost our pre-booked seats previously and had managed to book others, however, I wasn't happy with the location (very back row on right of plane). After seeing this thread this morning, I went back on and checked and was able to book row 23 D,E,F on the outbound and 48 H,J,K on the return.

By the looks of it, row 23 seems to be directly behind PE - does anyone know how these seats are? Do you turn left when you get on the plane?

Yeah, was going to edit my post as I found the config listed on seatguru this morning but around that time DIS went down for a while and forgot to post. Now I can't decide whether to get 2x2 downstairs in PE as we'd have all that space behind the bulkhead for the kids to play in.
