Do you refer to it as the US/USA/United States or "America"?
Or is there another name?

-------------

I chat with my cousins in Spain thru a messenger. They're always ranting and raving about how awesome it is I live in America and that they wish they could visit America.
I find it odd because techincally we are not America, there's South and North America.

I usually call it America.
but alot of other people around here call it "the States"

Same here - everyone calls it America. Except my Geography teacher who says USA - for some reason that annoys me, LOL - can't he just say US?

I say America and sometimes USA.

I find it weird as US, especially when you type it because it looks like you're typing "us" in capital letters...

I call it the states.

Or " Place with Don Pablos and iHop"

XD

US.
United States.
The States.

I refuse to call it America, simply because it's the United States OF America. It's in the America's, it is not the entire whole of America.

I call it the US of A or America or the states.
=]

I live like a mile away from canada and we always have canadians around us like evrywhere. Its so crazy. Im not canadian, but our town is so close to canada, some kids at our school have canadian accents. We all call it the united states. My friends say i have a canadian accent but idk. Wth is a Canadian accent?
I don't get it. The people who live here sound EXACTLY the same as people who live in say, NH.
I do not see a difference.
And I've heard plenty of non-Canadians say eh.

Forgot to say my family mainly say "Florida" O_o

Like whenever something is related to the USA, they'll say something like "they sell that in Forida." or "it's so much cheaper in Florida"

mainly america cos i'm so used to calling it here but everyone knows that we really mean usa lol

i use US aswell

Hahahaha! That made me laugh :)
You're definantly a Disney Family! Lol.

My parents usually say Florida.
In general, I say the States or sometimes 'across the border'.
I mean, most people go cross border shopping for things we don't have here.

im from canada and i dont think we have accents lol to me u guys sound exactly the same ( unless your from the south or something) and if u didnt know we were canadian u wouldnt notice that we said 'eh' lol. ( alothough i will admit some canadians do over use the word )

The only time the word 'eh' ever stands out for me is in comedy sketches.
And comedy sketches make Canadians look like hicks a lot of the time.
