We might try Coronado Springs on our Oct trip, please tell me your opinion/likes/dislikes of Coronado Spring resort? Thanks

hmmm - What I liked best about it...

Great Swimming Pool
Very Short trip to EPCOT/Boardwalk
Nice theming....love the food court

Actually - for the price I don't think there was anything that I didn't like about it.

Have a great trip!!!

Gorgeous Mayan fountain pool, water slide, Dig Site for the kids, sand volleyball court, beautiful walkways around lagoon. Very clean.

Can't say enough about it. We had a wonderful time. It was like heaven. The staff was great, and the themeing was great.
Likes: Maya Grill breakfast buffet
The Dig
The HOT TUB (hate to let the secret out but it is the best!)
The bus service
Real silverwear and napkins in the food court

Dislikes: For most people don't like the set up of the food court.

For the time we spent there (7 nites) it was the best choice for any long time stay. We are looking forward in returning maybe this fall.

Here is my likes/dislikes
Likes:
Pool/waterslide
Maya Grill (great food)
Theming
Mouseboats
Dislike:
If you get a room on the opposite side of the Resort its a long walk to the main building.

But besides that I would stay there again.

I liked everything about CSR! Even the walk from Ranchos to the main building! Many on this board haven't liked the Pepper Market food court but I really enjoyed it - lots of choice for me and DD and a server to bring drinks and clear away plates, etc (worth the 10% IMHO). The pool is definitely the best feature but the BIG gift shop comes a close second!

Beautiful resort.
Great walk by the lake for breakfast, evening strolls.
The Dig Site pool is pretty cool and unique.
Cabanas are our favorite.
Don't swim in the lagoon: sharks (the sign says so)
Food Court is fine......

All in all, a very pretty resort. I really enjoyed taking pictures there and posted around 45 or so on our site.

The Maya Grill is wonderful for dinner, and the pool is awesome. We did not mind the walk, but heard an occasional gripe about it.

Hi Tartanfan,

Did you actually stay in the Ranchos, we are going in August and are still trying to decide between the Ranchos and Cabanas, but DH thinks he would prefer the Ranchos because he thinks they will be quieter, but we also would like to have a nice view, can you help? Can you recommend a room no., I think an upper floor would be better?

Any other tips?

Thanks
