I wanted to do a little survey on the Disney Cruises. Of course that means I need people who have done the cruises to help out.
I'm curious about what room number you had, how many people it slept and which ship it was on....
We have done the Disney Wonder 3 and 4 day in Cabin 6654 and my mom's had 6652. Both slept 3 people.
Thanks

5622 on both Wonder and Magic - sleeps 3 comfortable. DH and I share the bed and DS has the fold out couch. It's has the open verandah and we LOVE it!
Of course, it is the first room of the hallway and directly across from the crew's entrance for the luggage elevators, etc. So some people might find it a bit noisier than others down a bit.

Room 2517 on the Wonder - 2 adults and one teddy bear. It had a king size bed and I also napped on the couch.

7512 on the magic and 7008 on the wonder. Both slept 4 very comfortably, good location, no noise.

Just back from 2558 on the Disney Wonder. Great outside cabin, right around the corner from the mid elevator, and no real noise to speak of. Slept 3. Loved it!

5024 on the Wonder - 2 people (but fit 4)
8012 on the Magic - 5 people (2 adults & 3 Little ones)

Even though 5024 is one of the Cat 10 secret porthole rooms, it is also an adjoining room & the connecting door isn't very well sound insulated.

We stayed in 5129 on the Wonder, we had 3 in that room. (my DH, myself, and DS):bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hardly heard any noise except a hum from the engine.

This is a subject I'm passionate about....

Our last cruise, 10/12/02 Magic Western, we had 2114,oceanview which we booked under FL Res discount. We picked this stateroom b/c

1) Very close to aft elevator bank, which is the least used
2)most of the venues we used most often were aft, so we didnt have to walk the length of the ship...these include AP, PC, Flounders, Plutos, Scoops, bev station, Topsiders
3) Although on Daves noisy stateroom list, 2114 was blissfully quiet
4) 2114 is 10 doors down from from laundry room...
5)Also, 2114 is close to embarkation point on deck 3. It was easy to board, get Palo res's at Rockin Bar D, have a nice lunch at PC, and walk right down aft stairs to our stateroom to unpack

Then again, many people on this board love a veranda stateroom...

On the Wonder:

7509 (Cat 10) and 2103 (Cat 10) both slept 4 with the pull down bunk. However, I don't think the pull down or pull out bunks were very comfortable for an adult. 2103 is very close to aft elevators and laundry but just a little noisy. 7509 was close the forward elevators and very quiet although a long walk to the laundry. Given the choice I would take deck 7 because it just seemed there was less hustle and bustle than deck 2.

Will let you know about 6130 (Cat 6) on the Magic next May!

6083 & 6085, both on Wonder, Cat. 11 inside rooms, both sleep 3. The first time (6083) we were only two adults. This time we were three adults, and still very comfortable.

We were in 8072 on the Wonder. It was a great room!! There were 4 of us. 2adults and 2 children, nice size room.

We've sailed twice on the Disney Magic and had room 2109 (Deluxe Inside) and 7621 (Standard Inside).

Both rooms were very nice and exceptionally quiet.

Since we spend so little time in our room we really don't see the need to spend extra money on an ocean view, although I think we'll try it at some point. For now though, inside rooms mean more frequent cruises and that's a plus!

6028 on disney wonder .october 6 2002.4 people slept there.great room.first with veranda.

We were in 6107 on the Wonder and it slept 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. The kids loved the pull-down bunk(they split it 2 nights each so there was no fight. Although the room was small(not alot of room to put luggage), we were hardly in our rooms, except to sleep, so why pay more for space you can do without! That's just my opinion.

We have stayed only in a Cat.9 on Deck 2 on each of our 3 - 7 day cruises and liked staying midship the best. Some people for the size of their party or the preference of a balcony or more room select a different category. For us, we would settle for the porthole only type room (we do not spend much time in the room).

6066 & 6064 on the Magic

These are adjoining staterooms with a pass door between the two. 6064 has a pull down bed in addition to the sofa bed & king bed. 6066 has a sofa bed and a king, no pull down. Both have verandas.

We are a family of 6 and were very comfortable in these rooms. They are very close to the mid elevators and thus central to most things. Also... if you aren't opposed to using the stairs as we did much of the time you are 1/2 way between wherever you'd like to be. :)
