I just bought our tickets through Ares Travel. I followed the link in my confirmation email to print the vouchers (I bought 5 tickets). I assumed I would print out 5 e-tickets but it just seems to be a one page voucher. Does this sound right? I just don't want to get out there this summer and find I don't have the correct paperwork to pick up our tickets.

Thanks!

Yep, that sounds right. I used them for half of our tickets last October. You will need to take that voucher to the ticket booth and they will then give you the regular DL paper tickets. Once I got up to the ticket window, it took about 10 minutes for them to do the exchange. They had to get a supervisor and it was a little involved.

Just something to keep in mind, though, is that if your travel dates change more than 10-14 days within your original travel dates, then you will have to exchange the tickets with aRes for new ones. This will involve them giving you a refund on your original tickets and then they will charge you for the new tickets. However, if the price of tickets has changed since you first bought them, then you will have to pay the higher price. It's a huge pain in the neck.

Yes, it was just a one-page voucher for 5 of us last August.

It did take a while at the ticket booth to get the tickets, but we arrived at mid-day, so there was no line at the booth at all.

That sounds correct. Make sure that EVERYONE named on the voucher is present at the booth when you get your tickets. They are looking for some sort of identification for every adult in the party. We had our kids waiting for us near the gate, and had to go get them in order to get the admission tickets. It takes a few minutes, but once you are done you have tickets to access the parks.

Thanks that's really good to know, as ares says nothing about needing the whole party present. I was going to go pick mine up myself but now I know to take everyone with me.

Are you sure? When we got ours last August, I went to the ticket booth and everyone else went to the gate. I didn't need ID for anyone - I just gave them names, and they wrote them on the tickets. Perhaps I just got a CM with common sense, but he figured I wouldn't be putting names on tickets unless they were actually for those people. I had to prove that the voucher belonged to me, but, once I'd done that, I didn't need to prove anything about the rest of our party.

We bought our tickets through Flight Centre, which is similar - they give you a 1 page, doesn't look like much, voucher which has to be exchanged at the ticket booth. No questions whatsoever - they did not need any ID from my husband, only myself as I purchased the tickets. My kids were nearby but not needed. The CM wrote the names on the tickets as they were printed on the voucher for us. It honestly took about 5 minutes and 2 of those were the CM trying to tell us stuff about the park we already knew! I'd not worry - they do this stuff every day there, it's not a big deal!

We just used them for our trip last week. Yes, I did have a tiny freakout when I only got ONE page, (and we had several tickets on each purchase...) but it worked out fine at the ticket window.
My son had about 6 tickets to pick up, and he was the only one that had to show up at the ticket window with his ID. He was the purchaser.
The rest of the gang was in their rooms offsite. He had no problems picking up ALL the tickets.
This is the first time I have ever used ARES, and I have to admit I was quite impressed! And it didn't hurt that our large family saved about $70.00 by using the Mousesavers link!

They ripped us off! Bought and printed our tickets off with an expiration date 12/31/2016. When we bought we checked them to make sure they were good all year but then they put an expiration on the pick up date. It's been a nightmare. I would recommend not using them.

Wow, that is horrible! And I've already bought our tickets through them. How would I know if there's an expiration on the pick up date? I don't see it on the voucher.

I think that with Disneyland tickets (unlike WDW), they always expire at the end of the current year. Unless you buy them really late in the year, and then they expire at the end of the next year.

Was your expiration sooner than the end of the year?

If you go to Disneyland after 12/31/16 you will be given credit for the amount paid for this year's tickets for next year

We have Ares tickets for Knotts - there is no expiry date on them other than 12/31/16, and we have one per person, not just one page. Printed at home so no pick up date, not sure what that is all about?

This is incorrect because they didn't discover the problem until 24 hours before. They posted half our tickets for the correct day and the rest a month earlier and are still charging us a 15 percent restock fee. Said we can get you ticket be Tuesday but we are flying in earlier.

The tickets have one date on them and the email another date. Half our tickets were for the correct date half were not and the vouchers have a separate date.

Problem is we are currently here at Disneyland. We need the tickets now. Plus the Better Business Bureau has case after case of them not refunding people after request.

Its on your email. Your voucher has one date and the email another.

We've bought tickets through Ares a few times and have never had any issues. Out of curiosity, I just checked my email for a pick up date. It says Aug 23 but we aren't arriving till Aug 24. Does that mean they might not let me pick up my tickets if I'm a day later than the pick up date on the email? It never occurred to me to check before but now I'm concerned!
