Hi,
I was wondering if one of you guys who is great at figuring out stuff could help me out!! We hope to come from Sept 7-11 and stay at the POP. We are coming for night of joy, and dont need park passes for those 2 days - but would like passes for thurs, sun and mon, so i guess that would be 3 days of passes,,,,,would it be worth it for us to get a package with the dining or not? on the package we eat like KINGS!! off the package, we just eat the fast food stuff,,,,thoughts????? thanks, wendy
Do you have AAA? If you do, then the 4 nights at POP would cost you $281.87 (tax included). The you can add 3-day base passes from Ticketmania at $191 each per adult. For 2 adults that brings the cost of the stay to $663.87. And that does not include food.

Booking the package would cost 2 adults $744.92. This includes the std. view room at POP and 3-day base tickets. The dining plan would be free. No insurance included.

So, I guess the question to ask yourself would be whether it's worth spending an additional $81 for 4 nights of food? I think it is.

PS. - if there are more people on your ressie, your savings are even more significant.

I booked ASMu Family Suite but found out that it is not going to be part of the Free Dining promotion. So we are now at Pop Century 9/30-10/10 - 2 standard rooms
2 adults, 3 juniors, 1 child
1 day base tickets
After the code and my deposit, my total due is $1,983!!!!! :woohoo:

I just read my post to my DH and he said "Honey, that's bragging!"

Yes, let's brag!!! I'm saving $2,000 on this deal! :cheer2:

We are using our base ticket to upgrade to our DVC AP renewal. :teeth:

We already had ADRs at Prime Time and Boma, but we are going to look at our options once again. We are coming off of 9 nights of Disney Dining from BWV on points - I don't even want to know how much weight we are going to gain.

Two adults, one junior, one child. 8 nights at the Pop Century, 8 day PH passes with water park option. $1,853.62!!!!!!!!

You might want to call and check on this. We are also DVC members w/ DVC discounted APs. I'm not sure you can use the 1 day ticket along with the DVC discount at the same time. I could be wrong (and hope I am since I'll have the same thing but for a renewal) so it might make sense to check it out first.

You're getting a great rate on the AP w/ the DVC discount so I'm not sure they will let you combine them.

If you find out, can you post an update so I can know for later this year?

Thanks, I will.

I need to call member services anyway tomorrow/Tuesday and will let you know just for sure. Upon reserving yesterday I did ask if I could use the base ticket to towards the purchase (not combining) of AP renewal and the CM said yes (she checked this with her supervisor). Note that the DVC AP renewal $ is the same as FL AP renewal - I don't percieve a problem, but will confirm.

I was under the impression that you could use any ticket (unused) and apply that towards the cost of a greater priced ticket or annual pass, with or without a DVC discount. This even includes old hoppers.

I was able to use the free one day passes they gave for an add on toward my discounted AP, I don't see why this would be different (since you actually paid for the pass).
