We will be flying out of Manchester, NH this September and I am not familiar with the Manchester Airport area.

We usually fly from Hartford, CT or Providence, RI and park off-site and get shuttled to airport to save big $$$.

Can anyone recommend decent affordable parking near or at the airport? Or is it best to use the "long term" parking right there? We will be gone 9 days.

Thanks a lot.

Hi,
Like I said in the PM go to your browser's search function and type in manchester nh airport parking tons of stuff shows up.
Coupons and everything. :)

Gail,

I did take your advice and tried doing a DISBOARDS search earlier but it was disabled & Google came up with very little (lots of mis-hits and dead-ends).

Only one I found so far is the Highlander Inn

Looks like search is enabled now.

Looking...

LOL, not DISBOARDS search, an Internet Explorer search. :)

This should keep you busy. :)

LOL!

Oh boy, are we having some fun or what?!

I did an internet search too, using Google.com. (vs "Internet Explorer" search you mentioned which I think is essentially an MSN internet search)

All your links point to the Highlander Inn like I found from Google.

Coupons are good for free day but pretty much a wash compared to AAA rate for my 9 days. (8days x $8 vs 9days x $7)

What else ya got there lady? Keep me honest. :D

Nada, at this point, but, I will check later after I finish setting the tile in the new bathroom. Wish it were Hartford or Providence, then we could have some REAL fun. :)

Manchester is a relatively small and very maneuverable airport. I always fly out of mht and have never had aproblem with the parking.

The 'economy' lots are fine (I think they are $6/$7 a day) and the garage is about $12/day. I've used both frequently and never had a problem at either.

You can walk from the garage to the terminal or if you use the economy lots they have very frequent shuttle service. I've never even waited five minutes for a bus. Its not like Logan where there is a lot of ground to cover.

When I fly out in October, it will actually be the first time I haven't left my car, cuz my flight times match a friends work schedule so for once I can have someone drop me off and pick me up (it's usually the other way around).

But, getting in and out of mht is so easy I have no problem asking for a ride (or volunteering to give one), where I would never ask someone to drive me to Logan.

You'll enjoy flying out of mht it's very stress-free

We have used the long term parking a couple of times. It is easy, and there is literally a shuttle bus every couple of minutes.

Manchester is an okay place. Never had trouble leaving the car there. I think it is well patrolled.

Your other option is to take a shuttle like FlightLine. It may only be just a bit more than parking would be.

MHT is not at all like Providence or Hartford. Comparatively, it is sparsely developed so other than the Highlander - which is probably the same distance away as long-term parking and more expensive - there are no off-site lots that I can think of, and I live about 7 miles from the airport and fly out of there very frequently. Your best bet is the long-term parking at $8 per day. The great little known secret about MHT is that the garage, normally $14 per day, has a weekly max of $70. In the winter, there is no better deal to be had!
