for those waiting on the IRS check

Dh ss# is in the first batch out. I did put in ss# and wrong number of exemptions (I just put in kids) and it said if you qualify.
Then I tried it with the correct number and it gave me the exact amount. I'm happy to be getting it back. I want to use it on PAP's but I think one of my cc's is asking for it the loudest,lol.

We also qualify and filed the child tax credit last year, and I'm getting the "if you qualify" thing too. If it mails by dh's ss# we are in the last mailing also, but if it goes by mine, it's the first, and I still get the same message?

I was at work tonight and 4 of us put our info in and the first person is getting 1200 mailed friday, 2 say that their income isn't high enough and mine has the if you qualify message. Mine would be in the last mailing so after seeing the last few posts, I'm not down about it yet!

Hmmm. I just checked the website once again and am getting a message that says "We are sorry but we are unable to give you the status of your advance payment check. With instructions to call, etc. Anyone else get this message today We, too, would be in the last mailing.

TIMEFORME: I, too, got that reply after getting the "if you qualify" reply the day before. Maybe since I'm in the last batch, they are processing the info now??? (hopefully!) Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I got a letter today says how much Im getting back and that I should rec it within the next 2 weeks. We had direct deposit with our tax return but letter states check coming in the mail.

I tried quite a few times today and keep getting a message that their server is down. I tried the other day and put in DH and my ss# w/ right # of expemtions and got the "If you qualify". However, both of our SS#'s put us in the last mailing. So, hopefully, with so many of us in that siutation we'll all get it. If I look at it right, we should.

I got my letter Thursday. Mine was mailed out yesterday.

I called my sister to let her know and she said she didn't receive
the child tax credit in her taxes because she made too much, so
she said she probably wouldn't be getting this one.

Then she called me back saying she got the letter telling her that she is gettin $400.00 back.

She was so excited.

My check for $1200 just arrived this morning(Sat.). It was mailed out of Philadelphia, so those that live closest will probably receive them today!!!!

We received the message if you qualify and according to my dh ss# we would be in the last bunch sent out. We didn't qualify for last years extra refund, so I am not holding my breath, but boy would it come in handy with baby 6 on the way!

Being fortunate to be in the "first group", I was expecting my check in the next few days. Imagine my surprise to come home yesterday and have the check already in the mailbox.

I was even more surprised today when I got the letter in the mail telling me I was going to get the check I received the day before!
