For those waiting for Cat Cora's Kouzina...

My boyfriend left a Myspace message on Cat Cora's MySpace asking for an ETA of the opening of Kouzina at BW. She replied to his message (he thought that was the coolest thing being a huge Iron Chef fan) and said it is scheduled to open in September. She did not quote a day, I'd imagine it all depends on how quickly they get set up. I am hoping it is open when we go in mid-September! DBF really is hoping too! Just thought I would share for those who are waiting for an official date.

Thanks for the info. I am curious to see what the menu is going to be. We really loved Spoodles, but our last meal there is May was subpar. I thought that they were not as passionate about there meals as they once were.

So hopefully there will be some reviews and a menu posted by the time we go in October. I have a feeling though that if we don't make ADRs at our 90 days out that they will be booked just because it is new and is Cat's place.

I'll join you in hoping for an early Sept opening. I'd like to try it on our trip at the end of Sept, but want to know that it is on the dining plan and maybe even get a peak at the menu before we go!

The Disney Culinears are planning on a very fast turnaround. Spoodles will close Aug. 1, so Kouzzina by Cat Cora should be open first or second week in Sept. Kinks worked out before Epcot International Food & Wine Fest.

With Teppan Edo, they started taking ADRs ahead of time based on the scheduled opening date. It backfired because there were delays, but hopefully that won't happen with Kouzzina.

This is what I was wondering. I can make ADRs for my Sept/Oct trip June 28th and was hoping to be able to get this one. I had the same problem when I made ADRs for my trip this past May. I really wanted Sanaa and even though they took ADRs before they opened it was still after my 90 day mark, so I had to just keep checking here on the DIS to find out when they were going to start taking ADRS. I made an ADR at 90 days out for Bomas, then canceled it after I made an ADR for Sanaa.

So Spoodles isn't going to be open... change that to Raglan Road,

oh wait, Rose & Crown was going to be right after Spoodles and I can't have the same cuisine,

put R&C at the end of the trip and The Wave gets bumped up,

look at menu of Raglan Road and get really excited about it,

where to put Kouzzina if it opens in time??? Urgh.




Well, if we happen to be there on the day it opens and it's an ADR I would be willing to give up, I will. Chances are that Cat Cora will be there on opening day are huge and I would love to meet her!

But, I'm not going to give up some of my dinner ADRs so Cat, I'll have to see you in January if you don't open on a day I need you to

Just a question, will Cat's restaurant be on the DDP? Will it stay at 1 or go up to 2 table service credits. Is it confirmed that we can make ADRS for it at the moment? Has anyone tried?

I make mine 6/27 and I'm anticipating not being able to make that one until later, just like what you had to do for Sanaa. I'm not going to make an alternative, though... If I can't get Kouzzina or it turns out not to be on the DDP, we'll just hit Beaches & Cream instead.

3) Thus, one must assume

Those are the assumptions I'm operating under as well, until we know for sure. I'll take speculation one step further as well... No resort signature restaurant serves breakfast and there is already an established signature restaurant practically next door, so I'm thinking it will remain 1 credit, same as Spoodles.

it's probably a soft opening, with no ADRs allowed. Thats what happened to us with Yak and Yeti when we went. No ADRs allowed but when the park openened, you can go to the hostess and ask for a reservation for that day. Totally worth it
