For those visiting Swan/Dolphin from April 4-8, please be advised:

The dock between the WDW Swan and Dolphin hotels will be closed for maintenance April 4-8. Buses will run from the Swan and Dolphin to the Disney-MGM Studios and to the front entrance of Epcot. Other Swan/Dolphin bus routes will be unaffected.

Can people just walk over to the Boardwalk boat dock? Of course, it would only take about 3 more minutes to walk to Epcot's International Gateway and about 10 more minutes to walk to MGM.

I don't see why you couldn't walk to either the Boardwalk or YC/BC boat docks. Just to clarify a bit....the walk to Epcot from the Swan/Dolphin is at about 15 minutes and to MGM probably twice as long....depending on how fast you walk and how hot it is!!!

I think this would be most likely to affect people who are staying at the Swan who want to eat at the Dolphin and vice versa.

It would be a very short walk to the Boardwalk dock. This does, though, open up the "front" of EPCOT for a bit since the boat always goes to the International Gateway. Thanks for the information, Ali!
