We stayed in Rapa Nui, which is very close to the TTC. I checked in at 6:30 am, and was offered 2 choices--Rapa Nui and one very close to the GCH that didn't have a balcony. I opted for the balcony, and then spent very little time on the balcony since it overlooked the parking lot.
our land/sea was in August and I believe the name of the longhouse we were in was Tahiti. It's the one "behind" the pool, on the other side of the marina. Our rooms were facing the marina and back of the pool. Gosh I love the Poly.<G> First time in that longhouse though. It was fine. Just steps out the "back" of the GCH when you left through the door after the male clothing dept.
We did ours in December and we were in Tahiti. I loved the location - close to TTC so very convenient to get transportation to all parks then a short walk back to the room at night. Although it was one of the farthest buildings from the main bldg, it was no more than a five minute walk at a slow pace and at night with all the torches lit, it was a very nice walk. Right around the corner of our building was a great view of the castle too.
