I'm budget conscious but love outside photographers much more than I do DFAP. We won't need transportation (all events at GF and staying offsite) and if we don't use photography I'm concerned about the minimums. We have a budget of $25K for 50 people. How did you make it work into budget? We are having a WP ceremony at 2:30 with a dinner reception at WhiteHall and possible dessert party at Sago Cay.
We did it by having a morning ceremony and brunch on a weekday - that's the easiest way to slash your minimums. We still did a dessert party in the evening, and I feel like our guests appreciated it more because it was a separate event, not just another hour tacked on the reception.
If photography is important to you, you won't regret going with the vendor you really want.
