What do you do that week? Do you do the parks each day, chill at the resort, just enjoy relaxing over the holiday? We are going back in Nov. We went this past Thanksgiving and we stayed at SSR for 8 nights..... we did the parks every day but the day we went to Sea World.....it go crowded about Tuesday/Wed. and we actually flew home on Thanksgiving Day. This time we are flying in on Friday and leaving the day after Thanksgiving. I am really thinking of only doing park days Sat-Tuesday and just relaxing on Wed/Thursday. Does anyone go that week and NOT go to the parks?? We will be at OKW and BCV for a combination of 12 nights this summer......so we will get plenty of park time then too. Just curious......

Would like to maybe start enjoying our DVC with less time at the park on some trips......such beautiful resorts to always be in the parks.

We were there this past Thanksgiving for 10 days. We flew in the Sun. before and left the following Tues. We had several non-park days or I should say non-major park days. The weather was so warm we went to Blizzard Beach one day. On T-day itself we had a fun non-park day doing BBB in DTD for the kids followed by shopping, a Thanksgiving meal with 22 family members and recreation and fun at the BWV. On our days we did the parks we always go in early (we are there for rope drop) and leave around 1:00 to 1:30 and then we go back in for the evening if we want and eat dinner and see shows. We always make plenty of time for resort fun and swimming!!!!!

There are soooooo many fun things to do at WDW and all are not in the parks! If you are spending 12 days in the parks this summer, I would go for some new experiences for your T-day trip and just do the parks for a few days. :)
