I just wanted to say :wave2:

Wasn't it a nice drive through the mountains? A little chilly but "beautiful, wish you were here" nice!

We ran into a little lake-effect snow by Erie, PA, but nothing major.

Customs was a breeze - through in about 30 seconds! Love that, when you are expecting long line-ups. :thanks: to Canada Customs for putting on lots of agents. Duty free was a bit of a Zoo though - must get those cheap smokes and booze!!!

We kept passing an Ontario navy blue mini-van with a Disney World plate cover and a Irish Mickey antenna topper. Are you a DISer?

Hope everyone had a good March Break!

Hi guys Didn,t come through yesterday but did do the mountain route on Saturday. Beautiful day for a beautiful drive. Lots of sun :sunny: . You can have your I75. Give me the 79/77/19/26/95 any day. Hope everyone had a safe and happy vacation. Wasn't the weather great. Best I've seen in Florida

I77 and I81 for us. 14 hours Saturday and almost 6 yesterday with a stop at duty free. Great drive. Snowstorm from around Scranton PA to Watertown NY. Customs was 5 minutes.

We came back on Saturday too - took I95/26/19/77/79 as well - beautiful drive home - lots of traffic in Jacksonville though with construction on 95, and managed to hit heavy traffic due to accidents both on the way down and on the way home. Lots of Ontario plates though - felt like we were in Canada with the odd American plate now and then. Great weather all week at OKW in WDW - I took four teenagers down and had a lot of time to myself with my AP - EVerest was awesome! Hope everyone that went had a great week and an uneventful drive.

We left Ft. Wilderness at 6:30AM. Did the 95/26/77/19/79 and loved it. It just got dark as we were getting out of the mountains. Your right though, I seen more Ontario cars then any other the whole way.

I hope everyone had fun!

Marcy

We drove down the 77/26/95 route and I much prefer that route, but because of the heavy traffic and all the accidents we saw on 4 east, we decided to go home 75. We left around 11:00 am on Friday the 17th. It took us forever to get through Georgia. The traffic in Atlanta was terrible, accident, and the road work plus accident around Valdosta caused us to take a detour. I don't know if it was because it was the end of March break and when we drove down was before March break, but the traffic was alot heavier on the 75 route. I don't think we will take that route again. Anyone else experience the two routes?

In Pennsylvania we thought we were in Ontario.

The locals must have thought they were closing down Ontario for the week and we all went south.........wait, we did ;)

I am from Pennsylvania - and I bet Ontarito thought we invaded them - You all went south for Spring break and all us HOckey families headed NORTH to your county!!!! We invaded the area from Niagara to Toronto.....
Driving home Sunday was a mess for us with the snow in NW NY though we didn't have much of a winter down here so we weren't ready for it but boy do you all keep your roads nice and clear....
Cutoms was a breeze for us both ways as well. :thumbsup2
