For Those of You Who NEVER Tip in a Restaurant

I waitressed for a while years ago, and yes, there are people who leave no tip at all. And these are not always people who don't dine out often. I've seen people who dine at a restaurant regularly and still never leave a tip, regardless of the service they received. When you get down to it, there's only one possible explanation - cheapness.

This is true. I was a waitress for years. I waited on the same guy every day for 3 years. He always came in during a rush and ordered a glass of sweet tea and always asked for a free refill and never tipped. It would tick me off because he would sit there for a good hour. I was a fast waitress and could have made a couple bucks off that table during that hour! But I was always very nice to him...I kind of felt sorry for him actually.

Then one day he left a dollar. You could have knocked me over with a feather. But he never tipped me again. Go figure.
