Well...it looks like some lucky individuals were able to get an AP rate early and it also looks like the AP rates should be coming soon (hopefully tomorrow or at least this week).

So....I figured I would start a thread to track some of the rates that you lucky few were able to get so we might know what to expect when the rates do become available for everyone.

I'm interested in the AP rate for a value or a moderate. I'm currently booked at the AAA rate at Pop Century....but, we are considering moving up to a moderate....depending on the price.

Even if it's not a moderate or value....please post your hotel, view/level, dates, and your rate if you were able to grab a pre-released AP rate last night or this morning.

Thanks....

I didn't realize that so few people actually were able to book at the AP rate. Anyway...from scanning a few of the posts from this board, this is the information that I collected regarding AP rates so far:

Poly GV - $269 = 5/16 - 5/21

WL Courtyard - $210 = 5/16 - 5/21

AKL Savannah - $230 = 5/16 - 5/21

AKL Concierge - $390 = 4/23 - 4/26

POR - $119 = 5/28 - 6/4

That's all I've seen so far. Anyone else?

Just booked AKL - std view (parking lot, I believe) for $149/night for May 20-25! :cheer2:

I just saw on another board $82.51 for a value (not sure if that's with tax or not)

I backed it out and it looks like $74 per night.

$74 x 11.5% = $8.51

$74 + $8.51 = $82.51

Same as last year. So, it seems that most of the rates are the same as last year except that the moderates are $10 more at $119 per night instead of $109 per night. People are quoting $100 off on the deluxes just like last year and now it seems that the values are at $74 per night.

I don't know if the June 1st cut off is accurate yet....since I did see someone post that they were booked through 6/4. Of course, their reservation did start before 6/1....so, it still may be possible. Disney did seem to break up January and February with 2 codes...so, it is possible that they could break up the May and June with different codes.

I guess we'll have to wait and see....

Yes, hard to tell until it's official. I'll be calling just to make sure.

Does anyone know if there are any discounts on these resorts? Old key West, beach club villa

Got $119 before tax also for POFQ

JCanary,

I just checked AP rates online last night for some friends who might go to Disney at the end of March...AP savings(versus regular Disney website rate) for a 1 bedroom at Saratoga or OKW for 6 nights was over $800!!!!! So, yes, you can get AP rates for Home Away from Home resorts. We are DVC members at OKW so defintely love staying at these places!
