Will you be at your cocktail hour? The more I plan the more I think I want to be there for the pre reception. I figure we could do most of our pictures before the ceremony and we don't need a special entrance announced. What do you all think?

My plan is for us to do as many pix before the ceremony as possible, do a few after, and get to the Pre-reception ASAP.

Desnik , I understand completely where you're coming from and couldn't agree with you more. Definitely spend as much time with your guests as you possibly can. You won't regret it.

We had photos taken for an hour or so prior to our ceremony. Then after the ceremony, we had a few photos taken inside the Wedding Pavilion. I would not allow my guests to leave for the dinner reception without me since I wanted to spend as much time with them as I could. I was firm on this point during my planning session. So, after the Wedding Pavilion photos had been taken, I boarded the same private motor coach as my guests did. And I'm so glad I did. It was a very fun ride:

Once we got backstage inside the Disney Studios theme park, however, Rick & I were separated from our guests. What? This was a surprise to me. The following photo should clue you in as to why we were separated:

Unbeknownst to me, that transportation was a part of the Handprint Ceremony that had been planned for us. While Rick & I enjoyed a chauffeured, moonlit ride through the streets of the Disney Studios theme park, our guests were being taken to the Great Movie Ride's courtyard where they would await our Hollywood-style arrival:

So, even though I wanted to spend every moment with my guests, there were sinister beings (a.k.a., Cast Members!) at work who would keep us apart -- at least for a little while. * insert evil laughter here * :lmao:
