My 4 yo LOVES the Disney Princesses?

Which would you choose if you were to splurge?

1. Ariel's Grotto to meet the Princesses- this will be $$ as it will be 4 adults and 1 child. We have no desire to eat the food there. It would simply be a chance to meet the Princesses.

2. BBB Castle Pkg- includes dress and priority entry into Fantasy Faire. This is $200 but would only have to pay for her....so thinking it is almost equal to the price of option 1? Has anyone done this? Tried to do FF on our last trip but the line was painstakingly slow.

Which would be the most memorable/ fun experience.

Ariels Grotto was not bad food actually. It is a premium character meal though so still you are paying for the interaction. For me, princesses are what I blame the whole worlds messes on. They are prim and proper and smile and are so polite and talk in their high pitch fancy voices and it's like come on already!! So no, 4 adults will be choking eating there. I'd go for the fantasy fare where the little girl gets all the fun and maybe it is a bit more fun and spontaneous for her.

BBB castle package for sure - my older Princess did this on our trip and she just felt so special. Also, when she is all dressed up walking around the park the CMs will give her a little special attention and call her "Princess". There are only 3 Princesses to meet at FF but whilst I haven't personally done Ariel's Grotto I have read stories where there has been some disappointment in the interaction and/or the time the Princesses spent - plus its noisy and you are trying to eat and meet them at the same time. (I remember this feeling from Minnie's Breakfast). Whereas at FF it is just your little girl and your family with the Princess one-on-one - much easier to interact and get some photos - you can do a number of combos for the photos e.g. daughter and princess, mum-daughter-princess, whole family etc. Not to mention the pretty awesome pumpkin carriage they get to have a photo in ..... Have I convinced you yet lol! You could then also line up to meet the other Princesses that meet outside FF on rotation whilst she is dressed up that day.

My granddaughter did both. She enjoyed the BBB much more because she got to be a princess all day. It was worth every penny.

I'd go with BBB, especially if she is a girl who really likes to dress up. We took my DD for her 5th birthday, and she had just the best time. She loved every minute of the makeover and photo session, and the immediate entry into Fantasy Faire was great, too. I will warn you that it does take longer than a character meal. I want to say it took at least 2 hours for the whole thing.

The BBB castle package is wonderful and would be much loved by your princess loving daughter. It gives you priority entrance to fantasy afire where you meet princesses and get autographs without waiting in line, which in itself is worth the $$$. But make sure you book it for early enough in the day so that your LO can enjoy being a princess for the whole day.

BBB. DD loved being pampered and photographed and being escorted to the front of the princess line make her feel like a movie star (and saved time!).

We've done both and I agree with others that the BBB wins hands down. Ariel's Grotto is expensive for what you get (a quick photo with a princess and an autograph, with overpriced food the kids barely touch). BBB lasts all day and your DD gets special attention all day. I'm sure the hairstyle can last longer, but we took out the extremely tight buns that same night as I was afraid of hair loss, which some moms here had posted about.

Have fun!
