I have a question...Are products from pampered chef guaranteed like stuff from tupperware is? I bought a great little spatula from pampered chef a while back and I have used it to death apparently because the handle (near the base) is all broken up now and I can no longer use it. This is from normal wear and tear, it's not been melted or crushed or anything like that. I don't have my reciept anymore either so if it's a time thing (like will replace it for the next two years or whatever) then I'm sunk. I really liked this spatula but I don't want to pay to replace it every few months either.

I wish I could help you. My wife got me a few things from Pampered Chef that fell apart after a few uses(foodchopper). Needless to say I was not that impressed. I have been have happy with the baking stones though.

Bottomline: Overpriced, overrated.

usually has a computer paper of what you bought and when ......I know that mine did.......I too love that little spatula.....it is good for just about anything.....call the hostess and demo person

I was told I needed my receipt to get a replacement. Perhaps you can contact the hostess so she can put you in touch with the person who gave the show and maybe she can help you out.

I just asked my sister. She used to sell Pampered Chef. You need to hang on to your receipt. Some items are only have a warranty on them for so long. There is a little circled number beside the product on the receipt. She said you could probabl get the information online. Your sales consultant may have the information too.

We are always told that they will not warranty any product without the receipt. I think the warranty on most of their products is a year. Our consultant recommended storing our receipts under our silverware caddies.

I have been impressed with most of their products, but they do not guarantee them like tupperwear does.

I Love mine and have had it for a number of years....like six now.....the warranties on most items is good.....I always take my receipt and put it in my cookbooks.....that way I know where they are......but my dealer had a copy of mine on her data base......the stoneware is three years guarantee on them....some of the knives are lifetime .....which is way good ...food chopper is two years..whisk is a life time also......look on your recieptts and you can tell what yours is.......

Pumba - I went to a PC party last night and bought the food chopper, and I'm almost positive she told me it has a 5 year warranty. Something else I bought had a 3 year warranty - I think the mini muffin pan. I may have those two backwards, but I think I've got it right. Maybe they have increased the warranty on the food chopper?

Yikes! I just ordered some stuff from PC (my first time), that little spatula included! I hope the quality is good... I'll make sure to save my receipt.

If it's any comfort, I have had mine for 3-5 years (can't remember) and it still is in WONDERFUL condition. The OP probaby just had a fluke. It happens.

Thanks :)

not to worry Liznboys - I've never had a problem with any of my Pampered Chef stuff and I have a lot of it! Most of it I've had for around 5 years. Stones, food chopper, spatulas, knives, ice cream scoop - everything's great!

Cool. ::yes:: :wave2:

I'm sure it was a fluke that mine hasn't held up. I got to thinking about it and I've bought lots of pampered chef stuff and I've never had anything else tear up on me. Maybe it was from sheer over use, lol. I loved that spatula!

My food chopper is at least four years old now (I think older than that). I use it several times a week and it is still going strong so I wouldn't worry about it tearing up.

I'll just be more dilligent about keeping my receipts, it is just good common sense and I don't know why I didn't in the first place although I don't really expect to ever need one again.
