Hey guys, just wanted to know where I could get a really awesome piece of cheesecake in Disney World. I love, love cheesecake, just NY style regular.. no strawberry syrup, no caramel swirl...

Just really great cheesecake.

Where? Anyone have any pics?

There are a couple of places I can think of that has cheesecake.

1. Grand Floridian - you can call the cake hotline and order a small castle cake in cheesecake. Never had one but heard they are good.

2. POP Century Food Court - Tye Dye Cheesecake. I had this... and to me it was ok but others love it.

3. Disney Quest - you have to actually enter but I believe there is a small Cheesecake Factory take out place at the top where you can get the WORLDS BEST CHEESECAKE! :goodvibes (if you can't tell CF has my fav!)

Anyone else have thoughts???:confused3

Best cheesecake I've ever had in my entire life was the Lemon Cheesecake at Citricos. I know it's pretty fancy for cheesecake...but trust me, it's worth every penny!

This was a cheesecake, but the texture was different than any other cheesecake I've ever tried. It was.....smoother, very creamy, but not as heavy as regular cheesecake. And the lemon flavor was outstanding - ever so slightly tart, but mostly just Lemony! I love all the fun garnishes on this dish. The big net piece was like a spun, caramelized sugar. It was really great to break off pieces of it and scoop up some of the cheesecake with! The little sign was dark chocolate, and the blue and white spirals were white chocolate. The red sauce was the raspberry, and I think the yellow was passion fruit. My one little complaint with this dish would be that there's not enough raspberry sauce to advertise it as a real part of the dish. Maybe a little bowl of it would be nice on the side, but the cheesecake is so good by itself you don't need the sauces. They are, however, just as tasty!

Not sure what to recommend. We've yet to find a good NY style cheesecake in the world. that being said,, the almond encrusted cheesecake at Narcoosee's was good, but very sweet. I'm not a fan of Cheesecake Factory Cheesecakes. I also think they're too sweet.

The best I have ever had is at Narccoossee's, it was like heaven on a plate.

I am with the PP! Almond crusted cheesecake at Narcoosie is the best ever and a musthave for us each trip. :cloud9:

im happy to eat any of cheesecake factory's offerings, but imo it's more of a dessert vs 'true' cheesecake (firm topped w/layer of sweetened sour cream:thumbsup2)

agree that Narcoosee's version is the best i've eaten onsite @ WDW

the other versions ive tried were oddly soft in texture, ala zebra dome consistency (which i don't see the fuss about either):confused3

the one at Biergarten was very good. It also had some a very thin layer of cake on top. I had two pieces.

In my opinion, the only reason to make a trip to Narcoossee's is for their almond crusted cheesecake. It is wonderful!

I had cheesecake at the Hollywood Brown Derby in DHS. It was SO GOOD. I do not have the picture of it on this computer, but it was delicious! It was normal cheesecake with shortbread crust. I think there was strawberry syrup on it, but I'm sure you could ask to not have that. Rather than having it in a "cake" shape, it was in 3 small square slices (kind of like bread slices, thin) Hope this helps!!

I have had cheesecake in abundance at WDW. So here goes my top 3.

1. The Plaza in MK has a good plain old fashioned NY style cheesecake with strawberry topping

2.The Brown Derby's Shortbread-crusted Cheesecake is excellent

3.Narcoossee's Almond-crusted Cheesecake (minus the cherry sauce for me) was also very good

The sugar free cheesecake at 50's Prime Time is actually pretty good. I was surprised

Il Mulino has NY style cheesecake on the dessert menu.

The best cheescake IMO has to be simple. I love New York style cheescake also--no crust and no sugary toppings. The best cheesecake that I have tried was at the Beach Club counter service area. It wasn't too sweet, had no crust and was topped by a large fresh strawberry. Sooooo gooood!
