I absolutely LOVE 50's Prime Time, too! I booked an extra ADR on our trip in September to eat there because there was no way I was passing it up. I haven't had the PB&J shake, but we'll have to change that. I've heard awesome things about it!

I love that they do the character meals with the Star Wars characters now! How cool is that?! You'll have a blast!

I'm a little behind, but I think that workshop/class on exploring Disney heritage sounds so unbelievable amazing! What an awesome experience!! So excited for you.

Now... I am DROOLING over all that Star Wars stuff!!! I have no words. (My cat, Kenobi, is sitting on my lap confirming my awe. Haha.) I cannot wait to hear about the character meals!!!

Oh I am super exited I came upon your trip. We are planning our 1st trip in June 2015 and hold your breath...we didn't know they had a Star Wars Weekend. I live in a Star Wars obsessed house lol. While they are at Animal Kingdom I will be checking in to the DCP!!!!!!!!!!! I am supposed to be at check at 9 am so I will be taking a cab, unless one of my roommates are nearby, to check in.

This day for me will be spent getting all of the DCP stuff taken care of and I finally get to find out where I will be working!!!

This is so exciting! I bet it is hard to wait until you get checked in and find out your assignment. I hope it is a good one.

I won't be able to get in to a park today so I am not entirely sure what we will be doing besides this. I am saving my ticket for this day so I can get in to the All Night Party on Friday!!! It is blacked out for CMs but I really wanted to go! I plan on dressing up like Fix it Felix You have no idea how hard it is to find a plastic hammer

My grandson has a Handy Manny toolbox that has a plastic hammer. You need to find a kid who will share it with you.

I have done a lot of the things you mentioned but unfortunately I cannot try the macaroons due to my gluten allergy

You might want to check those macaroons to see whether or not they are gluten-free. They had macaroons at the Flower and Garden Show that were gluten free. Macaroons are made out of egg white, almond flour, confectioner's sugar, etc, making them naturally gluten free. But to be on the safe side, you might want to check to see if the ones at the bakery are gluten free or not.

I knew they had gluten free ones at the F&G but any others I have looked in to have had gluten in them.

End of the Year Update!

Hey everyone!!! Just a quick update on what is going on over here with school and the DCP!

First off I am done with finals!!!



Yep time for some hulaing!!

This is also my last week at my internship and I give notice today for my other job. Everything is wrapping up which is sad but exciting!

I recently filled out all of my new hire paperwork for Disney and got teary eyed hearing Bob Iger welcome me to the company! Yes I am a sap and I am sure you will all hear about a ton of teary eyed moments throughout this experience!


Last night they had a DCP meeting at Eastern for anyone going to the program. It consisted of former CMs talking about their experiences and what to expect. Basically I am super excited! One Campus Rep explained the importance of being well behaved and smiling for every camera you see! I definitely agree with this especially since I am attractions! Another exciting thing I learned is that they offer nights where you can go over to Give Kids the World and volunteer!!!! I am so excited about this and know whenever I am not working I will be participating!


Just wanted to update you all and give you a little bit of DCP info! Our last day of the May trip plans will be up soon!
