He scares me and I have only seen him 3 or 4 times, don't laugh please.

One example of a show that I didn't like was the Working Mom vs. Stay at Home Mom. I feel neither side got anything out of that "discussion." And Dr. Phil didn't help much either. The whole show seemed kind of pointless.
ITA as well as pompous, condescending and never does anything wrong. Besides all those things.....he's just wonderful.Originally posted by shortbun
I'd like Dr. Phil loads better if I thought his #1 goal was to
help people. I see him as a "me first" kinda guy and good for
him but exploiting people to make money is despicable.
I've watched a few times and usually turn him off because I'm
afraid the buttons will pop off his shirt as his chest swells.LOL!

He may be right on, but it's the way he delivers the message that bothers me. I find him to be pompous and condescending. Sorry, I don't like him.
By the way, Dr. Laura is NOT a psychologist. Her degree is an advanced degree in physiology, and not psychology. She is not trained to dispense counseling advice- but that has never stopped her.

I can see what you say, those of you that think he's full of himself. I always wonder what life is like for Robin -
Yes, I can't stand his wife. Maybe it's because like another poster said her tagalong puppy dog ways that make me cringe. She just seems a little too much the dutiful wife for me.Originally posted by Jenn Lynn
I like Dr. Phil most of the time.
Who I don't like is his wife. Something about her rubs me the wrong way.
