I hope she doesn't regret not seeing her son.

I hope she doesn't regret not seeing her son.

I hope not either. I hope he doesn't remember that. He's still really young. I think he's only 3 or 4 years old so he probably won't thank goodness. The baby she just gave birth to today was a girl. They named her Grace.

Oh my goodness. I am not sure whether he will remember or not. I feel sorry for her and for him. Grace has gone home.

Me too. It's crazy what we have to endure here on earth w/o any real answers as to ease the pain. It's just not fair. And yet we thrive. I really just hope that psychologically Gabby will be okay. I know my mental health would be in jepordy if that was me in that situation.

Well, Gabby gave birth today and they lost the baby. :sad2: The doctors believe that Gabby will be okay though and has a very good chance that she will still be able to have children. Please continue to pray that Gabby makes a full recovery and please pray for her mental health too. She is very drained as is the rest of the family. They tried to bring her son in to see her today and she turned him away not wanting to see him. Which is understandable but also sad. Thank you again for all your prayers. Alli really appreciates each and every one of them.
Praying for this family!! My heart just aches for them.

I don't blame you and Hey you still tipped her. I usually WAY overtip. Having been a waitress I always try to think of excuses, like maybe it was just a bad day etc... but I have to say she could have at least said I don't think so but I'll check! yep she's lucky she got anything. My DHs mom was a waitress for YEARS... through DHs sickness as a teenager etc... so he doesn't have much tolerence for rudeness or bad service. He says if his Mom could be top waitress through his chemo, etc, 2 grandbabies dying, nursing her mom and burying 3 of her and her husband parents etc... then Everybody ought to least be polite!! There are times I've had to sneak a tip on the table so we at least left a little bit.
Sorry about the non grilled cheese but the park sounds like FUN!!!:thumbsup2

Exactly.....if she had gone over and asked and they said no..then I would not have cared. But she would not even make the effort :sad2:

God bless his mom..what a hard worker she was:goodvibes

Good Morning All!

Sharky, that park sounds awesome.

LeeLee, thank you. You always help me to put it in perspective. Kody told me the ther day that she thought that you sure have a lot to deal with. And I told her that LeeLee is strong and I think that she believes like I do that the Lord only gives us what we can handle.

Hey Chele.

It was a lot of fun :goodvibes

Ugh! That just sounds so awful. I can't even imagine the pain she is in. Poor girl :guilty:

Oh man that description makes me want to go to Chicago just for the pizza. I LOVE lasagna!!!

So this thread is now filled with pizza talk! I must have been getting subliminal messages from y'all posting last night because that's what we ended up having for dinner :rotfl:

Sounds like y'all had fun at the park but darn that stupid pizza place waitress for refusing to ask the cooks if they would make something as simple as a grilled cheese. How freakin' hard can that be for a place that already has tons of cheese and bread!? Good grief!

Thanks girl. Too funny you ended up having pizza, too :rotfl:

Stupid pizza place :sad2:

Hey, Carla!

I'm off to nap for 15 minutes before nursing again...I swear someone forgot to tell Elie that she's supposed to be able to go 2 hrs between feeds!:goodvibes :lmao:

Hey Marsh

Hope she adjusts soon so you can some sleep :flower3:

Afternoon Girls and Mr. Mustard and UJ :)

Carla - Oh man, I just read about the Parm Pretzels and my mouth is watering! I don't think Mellow Mushroom's are up north :( The steak sounds pretty darn good too that you're having!

Sharky - That is nuts about the grilled cheese. Most places will always whip up something for a kiddo...what a bunch of jerks!

Chele - I can't imagine going through all of that...poor Kody

Steph - Sounds like you had a nice nite filled with :drinking1 ,

OB - Wow, that sounds like an awesome spread of food :faint:

Marshay - Glad Elie is doing well...those nite's of nursing can be so tiring though. Did your Mom end up coming to help?

LeeLee - Hope you guys are doing ok

Mustard - Sorry to hear your DD is sufferring from headache's too. Hope she gets to feeling better!

Tat - I loved your description of the thread  You are not mean! And I also laughed at Lizzie Borden :rotfl:

After my fun migraine last night, I'm trying to do things around the house today...focus on the word trying :upsidedow After a migraine I seem to just take longer to get back to myself anymore.

 to all of you today!

Hey Betsy., Sorry you had a migraine:hug:

Yes, they were a bunch of jerks indeed

Oh man that's just awful. I really feel for everyone with the really bad headaches. I wish the dr's knew more about the brain to know what to do to help ease the pain better or make the headaches go away completely. Maybe one day.

Yeah, same here on the off site restaurants vs Disney restaurants. I think we'll either be eating off site most of the trip in December or bringing food with us to the parks. I really hope that you guys go in December like me and Sharky so we can ALL meet.

I agree Betsy....It would be nice if you could go in December :rolleyes1

Steph,

Sounds like you had a great adults night. It is good to do that here and there.

Hope you enjoyed the beach:goodvibes

You're very welcome :-] No, as far as dealing with it, it is all about the good days and those times when you are able to do something ...anything to help with the pain. Bean does better if she can be in a dark, quiet place with of those old-fashioned water bag/bottle things with ice n water in it.

It helps that she is so resilient and does not let the condition weigh her down when she's not having an attack. She feels better and just goes back to being her usualy silly energetic self.

BTW, very cool hair your girls have and great that you let them express themselves that way. I need to get a new pic of Kyra up, she just got her braces off and has a vibrant strip of teal in her hair and the tips also dyed teal. Bean is thinking pretty strongly about doing purple hair :D

Thank you Sharky :-] She had another bad morning, but is feeling better now. She's in with me (I'm home getting over the stomach flu  ) watching Top Gear. We have an appointment with another specialist next Wednesday - we'll see what he can do.

Sounds like the park was a blast and good call staking out the bottom of the slides ;) What a bummer about the uncooperative waitress. I know they don't make very much money, but still they need to remember the "service" part of food service. Good call on the low tip.

Wow, sounds like you've had a lot going on! Hope the beach is fun and sunny. The night at Grad sounded like a fun-filled night of drink experimentation. My DW loves rum/pineapple combos - her fave is something called a Barbie Doll, which is of course pink and has a couple types of rum and fruit juices. Oh, and I never drink the green beer - unfortunately they always use the cheapest beer for it :sad2:

Have fun with the new job and the packing. It is amazing how much stuff you realize you have when you have to box it up. Cute wee one? Well give him a good zurbert for me. My older DD does not allow them anymore and I'm sure Bean will be saying the same thing soon enough :lmao:

Hello hello! She's doing good right now, just hoping for more good than bad atm. She's actually looking over my shoulder right now.

She wanted to announce to everyone that Disneyland is very fun, especially ToT. Then she smiled and giggled  Oh, and she needed to let y'all know that she is turning 10 in July :cake:

Sorry to hear you had a migraine too - here's some good mojo to keep it from coming back :goodvibes pixiedust: :goodvibes pixiedust: :goodvibes

Hope everyone is having a great day! :dance3:

Hope they figure out something for her as well

Hope you feel better

Yeah, if she had just made the effort to ask, then she would have got at least 15 :sad2:

Sorry I haven't been around this week. I kept busy over the weekend. And Tuesday morning I woke up with pain in my wrist. I went to the Dr. yesterday and he said it was tendonitis. He prescribed an anti-inflammatory medication. I stayed home from work yesterday and iced my wrist several times. It's hurting today but I'm working through the pain and icing my wrist when I can.

2 more hours!

Hey girl. So glad to see you regularly posting again

Hope your wrist feels better soon :goodvibes

I'm telling you the truth...the spinal taps are NOT always that bad. You just had someone who didn't know what they were doing. It shouldn't hurt much worse than a lot of pressure. It is ridiculous that they continue to do it when they know they're screwing it up. I promise they don't always hurt like that.

I did too! We must have been watching the same channel. A few days later, the second one was on.

I was invited to go to Buffalo, NY to try the pizza there. Apparently they're also known for their pizza.:confused3

What kind of a pizza place doesn't have bread and cheese? That woman was just lazy.

We didn't tip our waitress in the pizza place we were at the other night. It was THAT bad. They were literally throwing our food at us. It was a bunch of college brats that worked there. They got NOTHING.

HEY!! It wasn't THAT bad!

Well, my sister potty trained me. I guess you can only hope.:lmao:

Well, I can be. Apparently Carla thought I was ready to rip her head off the other day.:lmao:

You too, with the headaches, huh? I managed to get rid of mine last night, but I wouldn't recommend that method for everybody.;)

She's such a brat.:rotfl:

They held a lot of world records for their coasters for a long time. I just can't get on them one right after another anymore. Old age is catching up to me.

Just wait, Mike will be the next one with the ear hair!

Is it from repetitive motion? You must have been doing something too much. And now see what you've done? Bad girl.

Hope it feels better soon. And stop doing that!

Yeah, lazy indeed. How was your business trip?

So sorry to hear about Grace. I am glad gabby is physically okay

will keep her in our prayers. I am sure she just did not want her son to see her like that. I am glad to hear he is young, as I doubt he will remember

Good morning. Seems we have such sad news lately. Leger I hope your Gabby and her family are on the road to recovery. Such a sad thing to happen to a family. And she must be truly devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with them today.

I hope everyone is doing well and beating these headaches/migraines/asthma. Spring is really kicking everyone's butts. My DS is back on his breathing treatments. But other than that we are doing fine.

Have a great day everyone!

Thank you Sharky. That's what I'm thinking/hoping too....that he'll just be too young to remember any of this.

Good morning Orangie! Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. I greatly appreciate it.

Sorry to hear your son is on breathing treatments again. :( Hope he starts to feel better soon. Spring is kicking my butt too as of yesterday. Blah. But I'm still glad for the warmer weather.

Well I guess I spoke too soon. After telling the Asthma nurse how well Braeton was doing he started Weezing just a little Wed night. Then he woke up with the bark I call it.;) You know the almost whooping cough sounding cough. (Does that EVEN make sense???) The good news is his lungs sound fine. Right now it's all upper respitory but the Dr said she could definatly hear his asthma underllying it all! So now he's back on breathing treatments at night and then just as needed. But with all the stuff that has been going on with a lot of ya'lls kids and selves I'm so thankfull his is REALLY mild right now. Nothing we can't take care of.

Yeah it just a mild case of barking cough. Should whip it in a day or two.

Don't let me near your flowers. I have a BLACK thumb.:scared1:

Update on Gabby:

Alli said Gabby is going home from the hospital today. She is very emotional. It all depends on what time of the day it is as to how her mental/emotional status is so please continue to pray that God gives her the strength to push through the pain and continue on with life. I'm really hoping that Gabby can find a support group of people that have been through something like this before so she can have someone to relate to. That always seems to make tough situations easier.
