More Tat updates:

She and the family went to Wonderworks (Ripleys), but she was in too much pain so had to leave early

Then they went to Uno Chicago Pizzeria and had dinner

After eating she said, she feels better.

Now they are going to go swimming

That is all for now :surfweb:

Thanks for the update Kelly! I always wanted to go in Wonderworks and see what it was all about! [/B]

You know it's funny but our pets are our children too. Shelby our German Shepherd is a bigger baby than the kids are.

I don't know how I missed it but somehow I did, I didn't even know you had a dog. German shepherds are so nice, big, lol, but nice!

Yeah they really are. It really upsets me when she is hurting so badly. And you are right....they really can be bigger babies than kids. They're like permanent toddlers

I hate when mine isn't feeling well, right now he is sitting under my arm, lol, so hard to type but that's okay, I'[ll work around him.:cutie:

I decided that for Fathers day it might be fun if the kids each made a scrapbook page up for their dad. Here are pictures of their pages.

Our Wal-mart is changing over to a Super Wal-mart or whatever it is called with the grocery store in it...however, it's still under construction. So parking here is a royalpita ... it was always a mess before but now there is even less space.

Bummer on the parking issues

But I love SuperWalmart. Can not tell you the last time I was at a regular supermarket :confused3

She used to make fun of me going to Walmart all the time, hmmm, now who goes to Wally World all the time???????? :confused3:lmao:

Glad to hear that Chris is feeling better but sorry about his new schedule. New schedules are always hard to adjust to.

Poor Lexie, I hope she will be feeling better soon, poor baby!

It's not too bad. And it will change too. Just glad he has day shift right now.

Thanks. We got some meds for her today at the vet. Hoping it makes her feel better.

I went to walmart to get some food, then came back here. Sorry I wasn't on, just am not much in the mood as you know. At least tomorrow I get out of the house and earn some money, it may not be much but it sure is better than nothing!!!

ah glad you had a nice time at walmart :)

haha Lexie does that to me too (sitting on me in some way making it hard for me to type) but I put up with it too.

That looks good Michele, I like the picture!

Loren takes great pictures. As the year has gone on his pictures have gotten better.

Oh yeah, we have had Shelby since 2001. She is a doll.

Thanks, they couldn't wait. They gave them to him yesterday, he loves them.

Why wasn't it crowded? Wal-mat is always crowded!

You will love the Super Wal-mart when its done so it will be well worth it. You can't bet their every day prices on staples and when you need meat, it's not that bad either, some people still prefer to get their meat at a reagular supermarkiet but I've never had a problem with their meat. And, if you do find something cheaper in a sales ad for another store, take the ad with you and if Wal-mart sells tht brand and size, Wal-mart will match your price, saving you a trip to the other place!;)

who knows

guess everyone did their shopping earlier in the day :confused3

Hey....are you home already?

Or are you "working"

How was your first day of work?

I was trying to keep awake, lol. The place is owned by a husband and wife and I am the other person in the office. The husband is out at least 50% of the time, if not more. There are two high school boys that work in the warehouse in the back retrieving files and setting up new files, they are part time.

So the wife and I were there and the two kids in the back, the husband came in for about 15 mins, got some work orders and out he went again. Then he called and could not pick the kids up and take them to the dentist so the wife had to leave at 2:45 to take them. I finished everything she gave me to do. I answered the phones and took messages as I couldn't help them as I had no answers since I no nothing yet. Then the high school kids left about 3:30 and I was alone, I looked through a booklet that had some information in it, then I went to look for something and went to get a binder off the shelf and the entire shelf fell off and all the binders with it :rotfl2: Stacked them neatly on the floor, someone will have to fix that for me. I read my book a little but it was just so quiet. I put a radio on and couldn't get a station so finally I got on the internet, checked my yahoo email, then got on the DIS, I got one post in and got an error so X'd out of the internet and went back to reading. The husband called about 4:40 and said to go ahead and go since he knew there was nothing for me to do there so I said okay, went potty, got all my notes with messages for tomorrow together on my desk and then left at 4:53.

They are very nice people, but am not sure how it will work out. The salary is pretty low and I have to drive 31 miles each way so am not sure if I will clear enough to pay bills, buy gas and have anything left over or not. First payday is June 26th, so we'll see. But its better than no money so I will definitely stay there until I give it a chance and/or find something else. As I was leaving one of the temp agencies called with a possible position. Figures huh?

The people I work for go to Sam's Club and they stock the fridge with bottled water, diet decaf coke, coke zero, sprite zero, something else, I forget, lol, and vitamin water. They also have those big packs of individual sized "baked" snack bags. You don't have to pay for them, they are just there for you to take if you want something, which is nice. I can take my lunch whenever I want. Today I took an hour and worked 9 to approx 5. As I get better trained and see how the call volume is, I'll decide if I want to work 8:30 to 4:30 with an hour for lunch; 9:00 to 4:30 with half hour for lunch or what?

So that was my first day!

Maybe Loren cantake a photography course in high school, that's a fun way to get credit. I have a friend who hated to take photos and now she makes huge money with her own photography business, I used to work for her, wish I'd been as smart and stayed with her as it was a franchise or she contracted with a company that develops and prints thephotos and she travels and makes a great living, she photographs big races too!

That is so nice they provide snacks and drink for you free of charge

Sounds like a real nice place to work.

After some time passes and you are out of training or whatevre you call it, maybe you will get a bit more an hr to make it worth it

That is funny about the shelf :rotfl:

Well that's a break for you, everytime I go it's always crowded, but I go anyway!

Yes they seem pretty nice, they say they are flexible, that will mean a lot to me so we'll se how flexible they are when need be.

The wife was real nice when she left, she said do your best, if you can't help the person, take a message and I'll help you tomorrow, don't worry about it, it's not a big deal, they can wait a day. LOL, so that was nice!

that sounds about how laid back it is at my Dad's office. Gotta love family owned/operated work places! That's why I can dis so much from work

She said there are times when there is nothing to do, even after I'm trained and know what I am doing so I am hoping when that happens she won't mind me getting on the internet. I guess we'll see. She said I could read so she doesn't expect me to pretend to be busy so that is a good thing. Let's hope I can DIS and FB later! Also let's hope the training period is fast and I get a raise fast!

How are you Love?

Is Tomato coming home tomorrow or Saturday?

He came home Friday night and went back last night. I miss him. :sad1:

I have before. What key word would I look up?
Tomatoes?

Maybe I was thinking about Love (Nicole) Hey Love, did you join a cult, girl?

:rotfl2: Girl you are too funny!

Does having a family qualify as a cult? :rotfl:

I think it does! Sometimes I feel like I live with a bunch of whack-jobs! :rotfl:

btw, I watched that Joe Jonas video.....disturbing :scared1:

Abby got a huge kick out of that! She agrees with you though... disturbing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
CHERI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:woohoo::dance3::yay::woohoo::dance3::yay:
:cheer2::flower3::upsidedow:upsidedow

I missed it! Happy Belated Birthday Cheri!

And Carla, that must have taken you forever to type! :lmao:

Ok ... I skimmed through and tried to catch up. Let me see if I got this right...

Trent graduated Pre-K  which makes Kelly old but Chele is older because she has white hair.

Marshay's hair is falling out because she makes her kids use coupons.

Love joined a Tomato Cult.

Cheri had a dream about Love's Tomato Cult.

Tat drove to Florida with Joe and no AC :scared1:

Carla is cooking supper for her sick puppy who doesn't like to sit down.

Did I do good?

Now I wish I would've seen that before I just read all the pages!!! :lmao::lmao:

Bummer on the parking issues

But I love SuperWalmart. Can not tell you the last time I was at a regular supermarket :confused3

So Tomato just informed me that there is no Super Target or Super WalMart in PCB!!!!! :scared1: If you even knew how essential to my survival my Super Target is. I don't think I can live there now. :sad2:

Whew.... I am caught up now.
